    I scheduled Diamond Movers for an apartment to house move on 5/26/2024. The drivers arrived at the apartment at 8:45 AM and got my wife to sign a paper that they were starting work and they grabbed one piece of luggage and went downstairs to their truck. I arrived at the apartment at 9:20 AM and the movers were still by their truck talking to each other. I asked them why they have not started working ************************************************* Russian and finally started working. I sent an email to '*********************' asking for the start time to be changed because the movers were not working, and she never responded. When moving the furniture into the house one of their movers said that a piece of furniture was extra to move it up the stairs when he was already halfway up the stairs. He also said that he would not move furniture unless HE WAS PAID SPECIFICALLY. I asked him why there was a different rate for that piece of furniture being moved into the house as opposed to when it was removed from the apartment. He responded by mumbling in Russian and moved the piece of furniture. When the move was complete, he confronted me and still wanted to be paid individually for that piece of furniture. I told him to leave, or I would call the police. When the movers left, I reached out to '****** A' who apologized and sent me a settlement agreement which required me to remove my review for a credit of $179. I told him I would update the review, but I would not remove it as that is against YELPs policy and what his workers did is not worth $179. From the attached discussion below, you can see that ****** agreed for me to update the review and still get the credit of $179. The credit of $179 was never given to me and ****** has now decided to not respond.

    The team was careful, met our requests for wrapping items, strategically loaded and unload the truck and knew what they were doing. Pleasant to work with and professional. We have moved a lot in the last decade and this was an excellent experience. Local move.

    Im using second time does complain. The guys did very careful and great job. They packed, wrapped and delivered all my belong without any damages. Thank you
