      I hired TMAAT to pack and move my belongings with expectations based upon their marketing and sales contract:(1) Professionally trained individuals to pack and move; (2) purchased professional packing materials from this company.(3) reliable customer service including coverage in the event of damages during the pack/move.NONE of the above held true. The company is refusing to compensate me for out of pocket costs including: (1) hiring a handyman to reassemble 1 bed that their movers left sharp screws protruding through the fabric without notifying me; (2) hiring a professional service to clean both beds due to severe soiling despite my paying for mattress bags; (3) dry cleaning services for soiled mattress cover. Further, they are refusing to compensate me for replacing a valuable piece of ceramic art that they cracked (and cannot be repaired) as well as linens that were unable to be cleaned.I have provided the company with documentation including photos, receipts and after more than a month they continue to refuse compensating me. In fact, all of the email responses are boilerplate and the manager will not return my calls.Their services are expensive and unsatisfactory. I would never recommend Two Men and A Truck for packing and moving. Beware of false reviews, they deserve less than 1 star.

      We booked Two Men and a Truck for our move which occurred on Nov 27, 2023. Two days after the move, while we were unpacking, we noticed a couple things:1. A gift we received that was in an unopened delivery box was missing.2. And even more disturbing, we began receiving fraud alerts from the bank of one of our credit cards. It turns out the cards we had left in one of the drawers of our dresser were missing. This included 3 credit cards and a HSA card.We did pay for the supplemental insurance for loss and damage and made a loss claim within the time period they required. I made several follow-up phone calls to check the status, always being given the response "we will check with our claims department and will get back to you." Well it's coming up to 6 weeks since the move, and they have yet to credit me the amount for the gift, despite assuring me that the credit for the gift would appear on my account. While they did issue a refund for the gift in the amount of $110, which posted on Dec 11, 2023, they rebilled for $110 on Jan 4, ****! You can imagine my shock when I saw this. I called them first thing in the morning on Jan 5 for an explanation. After much back and forth with *****, she told me that she was able to get ahold of a manager who would re-issue the refund. I was assured that I would receive an email confirmation of this and the credit would be in my account within 2 - 3 business days. As you can probably guess....no email, no credit to my account.And as far as the stolen cards are concerned, the company washed their hands of that. They told us there is nothing they could do since there's no proof it was their guys who did it. But we know for a fact it was. It was only the 4 of us there that entire day (my partner and I and the 2 movers). We filed a police report and the detective has been trying to establish contact with ******* at the company, but ******* is not returning his phone calls.
