  When my oldest brother passed away last year, he left behind a garage filled with heavy machinery (drill presses, milling machines, lathes, planers, etc), literally hundreds of hand and power tools, tool chests, metal lockers filled with obscure radio parts, raw hardwood pieces and maritime artifacts. He also maintained four large off-site storage containers filled with an assortment of personal belongings, including over 100 vintage radio receivers and transmitters, ship models and other equipment. I knew it was going to be a very daunting task to divest this considerable collection of possessions. I decided a liquidator would have to be involved. I interviewed five estate liquidation companies in *********. I then met the people from Cal Auctions. They offered an on-line auction, where only those people who had already purchased were permitted to come to the house, at pre-scheduled time periods, to pick up their item(s). The *********** team had genuine knowledge of the items to be sold. Their cataloguing team was highly efficient. Cal Auctions was very flexible in terms of scheduling several of the container-load auctions for us at their warehouse in *********, and only the final auction at the house. Their scheduling was on-time, promptly providing sales reports for each separate auction, and payment for each auction was expedited. I was highly impressed with their logistical support for the final (and largest) auction, wherein they provided their own forklift operator and transport service for purchasers of heavy equipment, including the ***** lbs anchor. They were able to sell approximately 99.8% of our ******** is rare in this day and age to find a business that does everything they say they will do. Using Cal Auctions made my Herculean task of clearing all my brothers belongings, at a fair price, seem effortless. I cannot recommend Cal Auctions too highly. They can tackle any challenge with steadfast proficiency. **********************************

  Cal auctions has made complicated process, smooth and organized. Very customer oriented, wonderful staff, great website. We are returning customers, have worked with multiple affiliates and every experience has been wonderful.

  Professionally run online auction with outstanding offerings. Read the fine print, 20% is added to "winning" bids. This may be standard practice. This was my first time purchasing via auction. The pick-up of items was secure and efficient, but give yourself extra time for other customers that take longer to load.

  We decided to use Cal Auctions instead of using an estate sale to clear out the large house that our mother lived in for many years. There were hundreds of items that we needed to get rid of. Cal Auctions did an amazing job! Their staff was highly professional and proficient. Everything was done on the schedule that they promised. They cleaned up after everything was removed. Amazingly, only six items were not sold in the auction and our share of the proceeds were three times more than they estimated! We highly recommend Cal Auctions.
