      We are extremely dissatisfied with our experience with First Progress and feel its important to warn other ************ husband and I each applied for secured credit cards, paying $200 deposits for both and an additional $19.95 for expedited processing on the second application a total of $419.95, paid by credit card.The first issue arose when an outdated address auto-filled on my husbands application. We immediately tried to correct it, but First Progress made the process so difficult that we had to cancel and reapply using the correct address. The second application was no better. Even after paying for expedited service, we received no updates and decided to cancel again out of frustration.We were told refunds would be issued to our original payment method our credit card. However, we were later informed they would be mailing paper checks to the same outdated address we no longer have access to. Despite multiple attempts to correct the address and explain the situation, First Progress has refused to make the change or issue the refund back to the card used.This is unacceptable. Standard financial practices dictate that refunds should be returned through the original form of payment. Mailing checks to an invalid address, after being told multiple times that it is no longer valid, is not only careless it feels like a deliberate effort to withhold our ******** date, weve received no resolution and no meaningful assistance. We are now left without our $419.95 and no confidence that this company intends to resolve the issue.If this is not addressed promptly, we are prepared to escalate the matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the ************************************ (CFPB), and other consumer protection agencies.We strongly caution others against using First Progress for any financial products.WE WANT A FULL REFUND BACK TO THE METHOD THAT WAS USED TO MAKE THESE PAYMENTS TO FIRST PROGRESS!!
