I went to San Sleep Center on 1/25/22, 1/26/22, and 2/22/22 to purchase a new sleep apnea sleeping device. They billed my insurance company for the services rendered on these three dates. I paid out of pocket the following amounts at the time of service:2/22/22 $ ***** 1/26/22 $3,915.00 1/26/22 $299.99 1/25/22 $299.90 1/25/22 $699.99 I went to the office on 3/22/22 for a follow-up appointment, When I checked in, they said I hadn't met my deductible. At that point, I had already paid them $5,244.78. Our insurance company had already paid them for most of the services, so I knew I had grossly overpaid them. I walked out of the office and no services were rendered on 3/22/22; yet they charged my credit card $ ***** on 3/22/22 without my authorization. The office then charged my credit card $37.00 on 5/12/22 without my authorization. My credit card has been charged a total of $ ********. I've sent them multiple emails requesting a billing summary and they've replied you don't need that you have your receipts. Our insurance company has tried to help us and they've contacted San Diego Sleep Center requesting a billing summary, and they denied the insurance company their request. See attached summary from ****************** Our total patient responsibility, including coinsurance, is $2,676.20, see attached. We've paid out of pocket $ ********, see attached receipts. A refund of $ ******** is due to us. The office has denied they owe us a refund. The office has denied all correspondence from our insurance company. The office has denied us a billing summary request from our insurance company and from the patient, despite numerous attempts via email and voice mail.

Dates Initial consult 8-17-2022 Date of results review 8-16-2022 I paid $1000 out of pocket for a sleep study and I'm not even given a copy of my results and diagnosis without being asked to pay more money. The problem is I've already paid for the study, and the "day of" going through the results I asked for a copy, this is not my coming back months or years later to get a historical record re-produced.I've never ever been to any medical/dental/hospital office where the patient isn't given discharge paperwork or some form of documentation after the visit, especially when it's already been paid for and feel this is an unethical business process. The other mention, no of the fee structures in having to pay more money for my diagnosis papwer was explained to be prior to conducted the study.Extremely unhappy and need help obtaining documentation that I've already paid for.
