      The dmv should not make you retake a test to renew your license you should only have to take it once thats ******** need to change that

      Went to the DMV in **********, ********** to get the Real Drivers License that is mandated by the Government. I specifically told the DMV representative that if my Name on my previous license could stay the same? They said it can't and has to be the same name that my documents have.I spoke to ******* from the DMV on December 6, 2023. I expressed my displeasure when Informing him that I had to change my other documents since my license had another last name. It was an inconvenience and cost me some funds. A Supervisor from the DMV called me due to leaving negative feedback on their website. I expressed my concerns and she stated that the Real License won't take affect till next year. They should of been transparent and I would of waited till next year. This lack of communication cost me some stress and economicly.

      I have been a driver for 14 years. I have renewed my license back in 2012 and had to retake all the written tests to receive my commercial drivers license back. I had to retake the tests because I had points on my record which I can understand. But now the dmv has me retaking all the written tests again which is making it difficult for me to work because I need to study and retake all written tests just to get my license back. It is unfair of ********************** to make a driver with a clean driving record to retake all exams when there are millions of irresponsible drivers with bad records out there that SHOULD retake the test. This should matter should be resolved and hope they will see to it that theyve made a mistake and give me my license back
