    I got an upgraded phone recently; I went from an XP8 to an XP10... Only it wasn't an upgrade, at all. In literally EVERY! SINGLE! WAY! It's a serious downgrade from the XP8: It's not as durable, not as reliable, less comfortable to carry, it has a lower battery life, the screen isn't as responsive, the security thumb-print reader doesn't work more than half the time (As in, it doesn't even register that you're pressing ANYTHING to the reader, let alone that the thing you're pressing to it is the correct thumb.), And it takes about three times as long to process any input. In the little amount of time I've had it, I've come to despise everything about it, and I would like to know what Sonim thought it was doing, releasing an OBJECTIVE downgrade, and advertising it as an upgrade.

    The quote on quote 'most rugged phone' is a cry very far from the truth. It cant withstand even the slightest heat. Even just leaving it in the sun causes its buttons and water-proofing plastic to melt and bubble out. Also, the warranty is very impractical and impossible to use, and is only there as an advertising quip.

    Absolutely horrible customer service bought a device from them that ended up being defective within the first couple days of having it with a three-year warranty. They refused to send a replacement or make it right wanted me to refund it and purchase another one through the experience I decided I would return it and not purchase another one. After the **** business days I waited I had to start making calls after day 10 I have been fighting them for weeks on a refund after three weeks of battling for a refund. I finally get an email that says refund has been processed. Youll see it in 3 business days 3 business days go by I call my bank, nothing pending or processing or scheduled, still battling for answers, and when I contact them, they refuse to let me talk to a supervisor, and they avoid me as much as possible and this point I dont think I will ever see my money. $584 gone at what point does this become theft?
