    I recently attended and graduated from Felipe Truck Driving School here in San Diego and this is my overview of the program and my experience. The class size was relatively small day to day and it was incredibly easy and straightforward to get one on one instruction with the instructors compared to what I had read and been through with my prior experience even, when it came to other trucking schools in the Southern California region, there were sometimes maybe fifteen of us at most in the class at one time just off studying the required brake tests, pretrip inspection or practicing basic skills maneuvers in the yard or getting QUALITY one on one time with the road instructors out on a drive. The instruction all-round itself was engaging and the way our instructors presented it, as it is truly the most hands-on school you could ever enroll in as you’ll be put in a truck your very first day at the school to learn the ins and outs of the truck and how to maneuver such a grand piece of machinery to build that essential foundation you will carry throughout your career. Because not only does this school excel at what they do: teaching, mentoring and producing quality truckers for the industry, but they always made you felt like you were apart of something more, and not just another number in a school, but part of the family because this school is and I’m happy/ecstatic to say, is a family owned and operated type business staffed with genuine-type people that truly cares about the successes of each individual student and as such instructional time is tailored based to each and every students needs. whether it’s working with a student on at odd hours to accommodate their hectic work schedules or even just if you are struggling personally they will do everything they can to work with you one on one intensively till you get the concept and can execute it flawlessly and all the instructors ask for is your dedication to show up consistently put in the work.
