      I rented a penske truck Reservation ********, from earth city mo. I had this reserved for weeks and 30 min before 6pm they called and said I needed to be there before 6pm or else I couldnt get the truck like why wouldnt you have called when I made the reservation. I get there and the guy is on the phone the ENTIRE time! He doesnt go out to the truck with us nothing just points and tosses us keys. The gas was not full, the ramp didnt work, we took the truck to two friends houses and ********** and no one could get the ramp out. Therefore we could NOT USE THE truck. I called penske several times from 8/1-8/3 however the penske location was closed so no one was answering I spoke to ********** they told me I would have to wait till monday to talk to someone. I finally reached someone on 8/3 and they gave a partial refund stating to call monday to get a full refund since they couldnt issue full refunds as she was not a manager. I called monday 8/5 and spoke to ***** who talked down to me the entire time, was demeaning and arguementative the entire time to the point I was crying. ***** called me a liar when I told her the truck was not full of gas because she had a photo I said I have several witnesses, she didnt care. ***** refused to fully refund me for a truck I couldnt use! I do not know how she works there. I am also reporting to the attorney general. I need to be fully refunded since I could not get into the truck to use it. I dont care about the gas money yes I returned it on full even tho I didnt receive it full.

      On March 15th, I made a reservation (********) with Penske using my credit card for a truck pickup on March 18th, with the understanding that I wouldn't be charged unless I paid in person. However, despite my absence and lack of authorization, my card was wrongly charged when my father picked up the truck. To compound matters, upon departure, the truck exhibited an oil issue, which had to address at a repair facility before proceeding with our move.Following the move, I contacted ******* on March 25th to rectify the payment issue, providing my father's credit card details as he is legally hearing impaired. Despite assurances of a refund to my card and payment onto my father's, no action was taken. Subsequent follow-*** on April 1st to ***** and April 3rd to ******* yielded promises of resolution, yet each time, the issue persisted.On April 3rd, *************************** finally provided a credit card authorization form, which I filled out and returned with all necessary documentation by 2:45PM. However, by April 4th, the refund was still not processed due to a declination of the Discover Card being charged as the card was due for payment on April 4th and no additional charges could be posted to it starting April 4th. ******* called my father instead of me which forced my father to use an emergency card that I pay to settle the payment, complicating the financial situation and essentially making me the bearer of the financial burden yet again.Throughout this ordeal, Penske's customer service team exhibited a severe lack of competence and urgency. Promises were made but not kept, and misinformation compounded the issue. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter, Penske's representatives failed to understand the gravity of the situation. Even after numerous attempts to rectify their mistakes, the matter remains unresolved, leaving me to shoulder the financial burden caused by their incompetence.
