    Transaction date of contract/sale: February 12, 2025 My mom passed away February 11, 2025. The ** Oswald mortuary who does business as ****** ********* mortuary has not abided by the contract. They do not communicate. I have not been provided a timeline. Appointments have been set up and the funeral director and/or staff are typically 30 minutes to an hour late. I am constantly chasing them around to get the answers. Out of numerous calls and messages left with various staff, I have received 2 phone calls from the time of the transaction. Selections for mini urns were made on 2/12/25. I had an appointment to pick up the urns with *** at 6pm on 3/28/25 and the location was closed. My brothers and I were physically at the location, we had to call and advise we were outside to pick up so we could get assistance. When the contract was drafted, we paid for services in full. The mini urns I received were incorrect. I paid $150 for 3 heart shaped urns from the catalog at the ****** ********* site and I received generic mini urns that are showcased for $50 each. The mini urns are chipped/damaged because there is no packaging - they were handed in a cardboard box with no protection nor identification. There was no effort to correct the issue, There was no one on site to issue a check/refund so now I am trying to coordinate the refund for the error. The cost for the service of a Funeral Director is $2845 - and due to the lack of service, communication, answers, I am requesting a refund of the service because my brothers and I are constantly having to chase them. They have NOT provided the services NOR SUPPORT that they have been contractually bound to fulfill. I cannot begin to express the amount of grief this experience has added ON TOP of my mom's death on 2/11/25. The funeral director was quick to make the sale but nothing else. help.
