    I worked as an independent contractor for **********, which operates under Smart Ecosystems Inc.According to our agreement, I was to be compensated at a rate of $31 per hour. On April 17 and 19, 2025, I completed tasks totaling 3 hours and 21 minutes of work through their platform.However, I have not received any payment for the work performed. My account was also suspended without any prior notice or explanation. Despite submitting multiple support tickets and an escalation form over the past month, I have received no response.The company has failed to fulfill its payment obligations under our contract and has disregarded all attempts to resolve the issue.

    I became aware of three 1099-*** forms via the *** website. The 1099-***s have a total freelance income of $7,058. I have never heard of Smart Ecosystem, and certainly have never worked with them. I have filed a *** fraud report and I am sending letters to both the address on the 1099-*** in ******** and the corporate address in *************. In addition I will file a form *****, Identity Theft Affidavit, with the **** I am reporting this because this corporation needs to be held accountable for its actions. I noticed another complaint about an elderly man receiving a 1099-***. If I can help him along with myself all of the work that Im doing to stop this corporation will be worth it.

    i see a 1099 nec on my account but i have no clue who this business is i have never received any pay from them and the address on the 1099 isnt correct. what is this and how do i get it removed from my income.

    My father received a 1099-*** from this organization and he is retired and 82 years old and does not use a computer or work from home. He has never contacted them, worked for them or anything. My fathers information needs to be removed from whatever database they have and they need to correct this ASAP with the IRS!I have POA over my father and any issues should be discussed with me. We cannot file his taxes until this is corrected.

    I have repeatedly asked Smart Ecosystem, Inc., i.e. "Outlier" to delete my account information (email conversation PDF attached). They said they would, but then I continued to receive emails from them and confirmed that they did not delete my account. They have my bank account information as well as my SSN. They lured me in with a high paying, set my own hours, work from home job, but the work never materialized. I'm unable to delete this information from my account, and every day seems more likely they are running a scam.
