BBB's Business Review for Menke & Associates Survey was created in May 2014. This company is contacting consumers by mail claiming to be conducting a secret shopping survey. The letter instructs consumers to cash the enclosed check, purchase GreenDot Money packs and then send the GreenDot money packs back to the company.

BBB contacted The Menke Group (dba Menke & Associates), a company located in San Francisco. The company reported to BBB that these letters were using the company name Menke & Associates without their permission, the individuals who were sending the letters were in no way affiliated with Menke & Associates, and the checks enclosed were fraudulent. Menke & Associates also stated that this issue was being forwarded to local police and the US Postal Inspector.

BBB received returned mail when attempting to contact Menke & Associates Survey by mail at the address provided, and the company's phone number provided in the letter is now disconnected. Consumers who receive this company's solicitation in the mail are urged to contact the US Postal Inspector and report this fraudulent activity, by visiting https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov or calling 877-876-2455.
