I found a Faux obituary of my son. I reached out to this company and they did remove it but would not provide information of the person. I think the company should help and report this as fraud.I am very stressed and want to report this company.

Obituare is protecting an individual who made a false obituary against me. I feel I am in danger because they reached out to the account that made it and now they are aware that I know. But they will not tell me who it is.

This website allowed someone to publish a fake obituary of a friend of mine. ********************************************************************************** this is the link to the obituary. I have tried EVERYTHING to contact the webite to no avail. Family and loved ones believed my friend was dead. This is NOT OKAY!! I am absolutely DISGUSTED that they would approve an obituary without no legal proof that that person is dead. WE WANT THIS OBITUARY REMOVED! This sets my friend up for potential scams and fraud.

My name is *************************. I created an account with Obituare LLC on January 14h, 2023. I paid $29.00. I later paid for an upgrade. the upgrade cost $99.00. The business charged the card 5 times for $99.00. the amount of money that was taken from the cards I have are $524.00. After I submitted all the information to the obituary I wanted to see what the obituary would look like if I were going to print it. So I selected the print view option so I would see how it would look before I printed it out. the information was cut out. I contacted live chat and they took two days to get back to me and the tech issue was not resolved. I did not have much time I had to do something. so I went to another business and bought obituaries from Esty. I filled out my information on Esty and the obituaries came out beautiful and the set up was easy. I asked the company (Obituare LLC) to refund me the $29.00, the $99.00 for the upgrade, and the 4 duplicate charge of $99.00 they made by mistake. I should have a refund of $524.00 to the cards I used. I opened the account on January 14th,2023 and asked for a refund on January 16th,2023. The Obituare LLC company stated since I printed I was not able to get a refund but I told them that I never printed on page because the obituary was not showing the correct information when I wanted to print. I told them I contacted tech support and was not helped. it is now February 2nd, 2023 and I have been contacting then and I get the same response. the response is that the accounting department is working on it. I needs a refund I never had a chance to use or print out the product.

****** created an account on OBITUARe's platform on January 14th and paid for our $29 **************** The difference between our free plan and the premium plan is that a customer will have the ability to print the obituary along with many other templates without watermarks. Before a customer pays for the upgraded service they actually have access to see exactly how their print templates will turn out but the difference is they will have watermarks.

We have clear language on our site and in our refund policy that informs customers of their ability to "test print" with watermarks without paying in order to determine whether the service is right for them. ****** chose to pay for the Premium plan which ultimately removes the watermarks and allows a user to print an unlimited number of times. In our refund policy we extend the courtesy of refunding a customer even after they've paid for a plan as long as their print count is 1 or less. In ******** case we had documentation that showed she printed the obituary she created 17 times.

After utilizing our services ****** decided to then claim there was fraud and filed a dispute with ******. Her money was refunded as seen in the attached file. ****** claimed we charged her 5 times and submitted a screenshot of the charges; however, ****** failed to see that 2 or the 5 line items on her bank statement were credits and the other 3 were debits. When they net out they equal to a single charge. This has nothing to do with OBITUARe but more of an issue with the way PayPal processes the customers payment.

The team at OBITUARe created this platform to for the sole purpose of helping people. Our intention is not to scam them out of their money which is why we provide a free option.
