VersusGame is a company that allowed for betting on host submitted questions. These questions could vary from sports outcome scenarios to celebrity gossip to stock price predictions. Betting options are binary such as Yes or No that X outcome will occur. In order for you to win, you have to be matched with a person who bet the opposite of you w/ the same betting amount.Over the course of the last few years (account created November 2021), I amassed a large amount of funds from correctly betting. The current value of my account is $123,000. ******************** does not allow you to withdraw your funds from your account to a reasonable degree. Currently, users are only able to withdraw $50/week from their account and it must be withdrawn in the form of a gift card. I have reached out to them a multitude of times and received no response about being able to withdraw my funds so I assume they are planning on ignoring me completely until I go away. I am assuming they are planning on simply never paying out users who have significant sums in their systems what they are owed in hopes they will forget about the situation and be able to keep the capital within the company. Or possibly, unless customers take legal action against them where they are able to drain individuals of capital in arbitration while coming to a small settlement. They also previously had a different ruleset for "hosts" of questions where they would be able to withdraw up to $25,000/mo. However, that is not available for any customers today.Where this becomes a larger issue is also the fact that customers are not able to receive funds and pay the appropriate tax on their winnings. I am not sure what to do at this point beyond filing a complaint or a lawsuit against them as they have shown no sign of wanting to remedy the situation, and I am sure there are many customers who are also in a similar situation but may be thinking the company is simply a scam.

Hello. I'm sorry you are unhappy. We are not sure what the issue is as we just checked and your account is still active.

      Hello Versus,

My complaint is that Versus Game refuses to allow individuals to fully withdraw the funds from their account or allow them to withdraw to a level that will deplete their account in a timely manner. At the current withdrawal rate of $50/week, it will take over 45 years in order to receive the funds within my account which is not acceptable. There is also no legitimate reason for the retention of customer funds as they must be accounted for separate to corporate funds and cannot be utilized for company expenditures. ****** has also previously allowed privileged "verified hosts" to withdraw $25,000/month. So I am not sure why they are holding current customer funds hostage and only allowing a very small amount to be withdrawn weekly.

      Sincerely,

      Brain ********

VersusGame is an application which people can make money by betting on popular culture, sports, events, etc.A few years ago I caught wind of this app and began to invest and play myself. I had invested $70 into the application, and was able to amount a few hundred dollars in my first few weeks of playing. Eventually I generated over $66,000 on the app in winnings. With that said I saw maybe $900 of those dollars. They banned my account for no reason, and when I reached out for a reason they wouldnt respond to me. In fact, when I would reply to their posts they would see what I wrote and not reply. I am not the only individual this has happened to as I have found other individuals who have made even more than $66,000 and been banned as will illegitimately.

I am writing to you today because I am in need of assistance in resolving a dispute with the company VersusGame. I won a little more than $15,000 off of VersusGame, however, they are refusing to pay me the full sum in a lump sum. Initially, they were giving me payouts of $400 per week but have since been delisted from all app stores and have truncated their withdrawal limit to $50 a week. I can only access this money if I request to withdraw at the right time of day, once per week. At this rate, it would take me 6 years for them to pay me the full amount of money that I am owed. I have tried to contact their CEO, CFO, ************ Team, and Customer Support with no response. I do not have faith that the company will stay solvent for that long, due to the circumstances that I have described. I am attaching pictures/proof of the amount that I am owed, as well as any additional information or details that are specific to my dispute with VersusGame.I am requesting your assistance in resolving this dispute so that I can receive the full sum of money that I am owed as quickly as possible, ideally within the next month.I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter.
