    I purchased a pizza from my local pizza place. They have started using Skipify I purchased a pizza at 12:47 PM Pacific standard time on Saturday the 21st I was given a receipt to my card that I used. After a couple hours, my pizza never came so I called the pizza place. They told me they never got the order, however Skipify did take my money. The pizza place that I had to re-order the pizza and I said what if it go through again and it takes my money again they said dont worry youll get your money in 3 to 5 business days. I dont think this is fair. They are keeping customers money for five days thousands of people that use that service at $16 a person minimum thats $16,000 they get to play with for five days. I still havent received my money I wrote to them, they said my bank needs to release the money. I talked to my ********* said thats untrue that they havent voided or canceled the payment or transaction. Theres no telephone for this company. Only an email please help me. Below is a screenshot of what the merchant says, and my bank says please help me

    While Skipify provides services to merchants in order to make checkout faster and easier for everyone, we do not handle any money.  We cannot offer the resolution you request because we did not charge you and have no way to refund you.  We suggest you work with your bank or payment provider if your refund does not happen within the timeframe they provide.  As we previously mentioned, we will work with the merchant to ensure there are no future issues receiving orders after a transactions is authorized by your bank or payment provider.

    We are business in **** and we use this company as a payment processor. This is an issue for people who pay with a credit cards and provide tips to our drivers. This company is holding our tip money provided by customers to our employees. This has been going on for a couple of months now. ( taken indication by BBB rep ****

    We act as a digital wallet to store credit card information of consumers which they can use to quickly checkout at supported merchants.  We provide payment information to payment networks who clear the transaction when requested by consumers, but we not a payment processor as alleged in the complaint.  We do not handle any consumer funds and do not have the ability to hold tip money, or any other money that consumers request as part of a purchase. as alleged in the complaint.  It may be that there is an issue with the payment network or merchant who is running these transactions, and we could reach out to them in order to assist this person, but not enough information has been provided for us to identify who the merchant or payment network may be.
