I was signed up by a SpotOn representative for what I was told was a single account for our business. However, I later discovered that there were two separate accounts created under our business name. Only one of those accounts was ever knowingly used or authorized.Over the course of three years, we were never made aware of the existence of the second account not during onboarding, not in the course of multiple phone calls with SpotOn for support, and not even when I called to cancel our service. The second account was never utilized and provided no value to our business.Even after cancellation, we continued to be charged for the second account one we had no knowledge of and received no value from. Only after I questioned the billing did SpotOn inform me that a second account existed, and they claimed it was signed by a different individual. However, both accounts were created by the same representative, who they now say is no longer with the company Despite multiple attempts to resolve this and request a refund, SpotOn has refused, citing that both accounts were signed by different individuals. However, both were opened through the same representative, and we were never given clear information or the opportunity to knowingly consent to opening two separate accounts.I believe this situation reflects misrepresentation and a lack of transparency. After three years of unknowingly being billed for an unused account, I am requesting a full refund for the second account. ********************** has been unwilling to offer a fair resolution, leaving me no choice but to escalate this complaint to the BBBSpotOn Transact, LLC

1 starThe ABSOLUTE WORST credit card processing company. If you sign up expect your machine not perform correctly... that's the positive review. I used 4 credit card machines for a high volume music venue in ******* called **********. ************* weren't ready to be put on the market because I couldn't get any information in the back end. Like, a simple breakdown of charges and daily amounts rung in for each machine. I stopped after 3 days and EVERY SINGLE WEEK AFTER I HANDED BACK THE MACHINES I GET RANDOM CHARGES. I CAN'T GET ANY HELP AT ALL. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOTHING AFTER 30 CALLS. I CAN'T CANCEL! THEY ARE CHARGING MY ACCOUNT EVERY SINGLE WEEK AND THE "HIGHER UP " PEOPLE CAN'T REVERSE THESE RANDOM CHARGES. "OUT OF THEIR HANDS". PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. I HAVE HEARD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THESE ISSUES. THEY ARE CROOKS!Review fromKate F

1 starThis system over promises and under delivers. What they don't tell you is that they are piecemealing their system so they don't have complete control or understand of whats happening within their "system". In the 2 months that I've used them, their system went down 2 major times and what they don't mention when you sign up is that they are cloud based and if they go down, their system is a brick. This however isn't even the worst of the problems I've encountered with Spoton. Part of their piecemeal is the **** Fresh KDS. Again, this is not their own system so when that starting glitching and losing packets of information, they could not figure out what was going on. We were losing 30+ tickets on our busiest volume nights and they kept trying to say it was our internet....SURPRISE, it never was! 3 weeks of lost tickets, comping food, double making food because ghost tickets would reappear they finally admitted that that system was glitchy and downgraded me which solved 90% of my system issues. This cost me THOUSANDS and on top of that loss of staff due to stress when the system would crash on our busiest shifts for multiple shifts. On top of that because they don't have the infrastructure, they source out some of the work. Every time someone showed up you'd have to run them through all of the issues and no one every got to the bottom of any of it. 1.5 months into the system, they sent me the wrong banking form and withheld my deposits for 1 week. We had a low limit threshold bc we were new and not established and it would reject cards that were run late night for large amounts. Embarrassing us in front of customers. Never in 30 years with any system have i seen this happen. One private party was $5000+ and multiple cards were declined even after they talked to bank. Canceled my account and they closed before settling final batch. They can't figure it out, I had to send pictures of missing sales deposits. Let's see if they resolve.Review fromJessica S

5 starsWe were in a desperate situation. We have a 40 acre farm and our LGDs are trained to protect our livestock. They are trained to track predators and chase them off. We got a new neighbor from NY city who bought next to us. He shot one of our dogs during a very active coyote season. Traditional fencing wont keep our dogs contained, we live in a mountainous region and the dogs are used to scaling, climbing and jumping. Electric fences dont stop them either. We tried SpotOn and the failing of these collars is literally the difference of life and death of our dogs. They worked! Our dogs can do their job, protect our animals and children, but they stop at the boundary lines and return home. I can also see where they go and how far. So by telling where are dogs are concentrating, I can tell where there is high predator activity and/or trails. One of the prongs broke off early on and the company replaced the collar quickly. If I had any complaint about the collar is the battery life. Our dogs are nocturnal, but want to be us during the day as well. The battery life is about 12 hours, but we are saving to by a rotating set.Review fromYi Chuan K

SpotOn delivered me equipment last year. And charged me $854. But the system couldnt work at my shop. Their manager ******** and ***** took my equipment away. They said they would setup a new system for me. But they never come back. ****** is the one who took over my case. But she let Spoton keep over charge me 7 times in 5 months. No matte what I do. They just answer me. I will refund you. But I never received any money. It is an unresponsive company for they allow their employees do something so bad.SpotOn Transact, LLC

Received a receipt from SpotOn for a transaction I did not make. When I called for support they told me to contact the merchant (an airport kiosk). When asked how I could do so (the receipt contained no merchant details), they promptly said they could not help and closed my case. Thankfully I should be able to dispute the charge via my credit card company. But this is not a very consumer friendly way to do business and I will be avoiding self serve airport kiosks in the future because of this experience.SpotOn Transact, LLC

Maybe I should've read these reviews before actually using this company. For over a month now my recurring payments feature stopped working and I've lost $3k so far. Every time I call customer service they say they're escalating the issue but its never get it resolved. A couple of times they sent tickets back saying they rectified the issue but never did and never do. Whenever you call to talk about possible transactional refunds they end the conversation quickly. My first small business will basically be ruined because I partnered with a company that can't fix the issues they cause. So disappointing that when they say they'll call back, they rarely ever do. Try another company with better customer service and a better understanding of their own products before you go with Spoton, this has become such a nightmare and I'm still waiting for help. I would hate to have to resort a legal action remedy but what else am I to do?? My business is failing because of Spoton. I guess they'll be some generic messages saying how sorry they are about my experience and that someone is working on it now and will reach out shortly. All lies to this point... and totally unfair! When tech-support tells you they never saw or had a problem like your's, you basically get the feeling of gross incompetence and being alone in the water with no life raft.SpotOn Transact, LLC

I called to close my account and the customer service person assured me it was closed, My account was debited again and I called back and I was assured the account was closed. ********************** is still drafting my account. $50.00 this month. The worst experience I've ever had in business with yall. I've been trying to get a refund for a month. **** gave me 5 different invoice for refund an no money. Blame my bank for no releasing funds.
