This business is notorious for scamming people in buying these camera filters. I paid 429 usd for two or ****** aud. They showed me a website that list these prices as they are trying to sell me however if you look at the company retail it's a diffrent price. I've seen all over the reviews these people are coersing people into purchasing these filters at these crazy prices. I wanted a refund as I was not happy with the service and the purchase so I wanted a refund back. They are scamming people and as an ********** it's disappointing to see a business in ************* scamming tourist such as myself.

I was walking around ** Chinatown on August 3, 2022. It was about 10:30am as I came across "New Age Camera" on Grant ******* One of them came up to me and noticed my camera and we started a conversation about my camera model, where I'm from, what lens I use, etc. Eventually, he asked if he could show me something and revealed a wide-angle lens that also had a macro lens function. (The ******* as it was labeled) He insisted it was better than my current lens and that "I wouldn't need to buy anything more for my camera ever again." He made me feel like I was missing out on this opportunity and pressured me into buying it. The price for this lens was $1199 and he quickly brought it down to $900 and then $800 with two "brand new" polarizing filters. He showed me an **** price of the model on his phone which sold for $1500. He even looked through the photos I took a week ago and said it would've been better if I used these attachments. I bought the $865 (with tax) lens and filters. I tried the new lens I had just bought and noticed it had already seen some use before with lots of dust and tiny scratches which I was unable to see in the shop. The lens blurred my images, it did nothing to what I was being told it would do. The box it came in was old and worn at the bottom. I finally did some research on my phone about the brand and store. I immediately felt stupid when a pile of reviews warned against "overpriced, scammed, and avoid the store." Many people were tricked by this scam. I tried to return it for a refund but he rejected my request and pointed at a tiny sign on the wall, "All Sales Final" which I was never informed of during my purchase. I was unable to return my item that was not as described and manufactured by a company that no longer exists. Now I am stuck waiting for a reply from my bank.
