This company is corrupted from all the way to the top to the bottom. The property manager harasses the tenants. The units are falling apart and they refuse to fix it. They control the maintenance staff like their puppets. There are people in a waiting list for years waiting for a unit and they have children and struggling financially. But these corrupted managers are getting away by putting other people in units because they are being bribed up to $5000 dollars to get them in. While some families that are more needy are refused. And when we call to get information they tell us its private information. Im disable and have been harassed by manager and her family. I was onces picked up by the ambulance in the office and management didnt care that i was having an emergency medical issue. I called ********************************** When the paramedics came they found me on the floor in the bathroom and the manager had closed the door to her office like I was an animal. Not even an animal gets treated that way. Ever since this company took over its been nothing but secretive and they are helping them self with all our budget to fixing our units. They take our supplies to benefit themselves. They dont help us with explaining forms to us they just want us to sign and the dates are way past due. But if we refuse they threaten us to evict us. Some one needs to put a stop to them.

**** ******* *** takes advantage of the fact that tenants often do not have the resources to move or fight them in court. I have lived in my unit for 14 years & have seen a decline in the building's overall habitability-- nasty elevators with human ************** ***** in the washing machine; rats in the plumbing; used condoms in the rooftop area; stolen packages on the weekly; broken elevators for months at a time; broken intercoms for months at a time. The latest is we have not had hot water for OVER a month! The worst, though, is the actual discriminatory behaviors from the latest manager, who now has been here for 2 years. She continues to harass our household. She picks & chooses who she talks to with disrespect-- primarily the ******************** of the building. She has made a direct derogatory comment about my disability. After 14 years, the new manager has chosen to revoke my reasonable accommodation. I have consulted with Disability Rights of ********** & know that the behaviors they are engaging in is very much ILLEGAL. This will likely end up in court for a judge to decide. Mostly, though, I just want to use this platform to share that the people running our building are morally corrupt. The manager is a bigot. The lead maintenance has sexually harassed many of the females, including myself. The **** ******* *** bank$ on the fact that they will always get their monthly payment from many of the subsidized programs that help residents. Residents, therefore, have little power. The Company also uses intimidation tactics. They assume that all the residents are not educated or motivated enough to fight them in the court of law. . .

The manager refuses to have my door fixed, the door is defective with cracks on both sides where rodents can enter my apartment and she has been making excuse for over two months now.

This company is one of the low income housing units that is owned by The *********************** Company. I am a tenant in the compass rose apartmens. For the past three years I have been living in a nightmare. I was left without heat from 2021-2022, as a result my childs school called cps and cps removed my child and charged me with child neglect. I was told it was my fault that i was living in an uninhabitable. Despite the fact that the property manager was trying to save her company some money, she could care less that my child was removed because she refused to repair my heater. It took me close to 3 years to get my child back. However, in the middle of this nightmare, during the pandemic, myself and a few other tenants discovered that the property manager was overpaid by the government. The tenants who qualified for the CARES ACT got rental assistant, but the property manager was pocketing money she was receiving from this government program. Here is how she did it and got away with it. For this program tenants paid 20% of their rent and the government paid the balance. My part of the rent was usually around $200 a month. The property manager would keep records of that partial payment through ledgers she submitted to the government. As I reviwed these ledgers, I was shocked to discover that some months she DID NOT report to the government my partial payments. This resulted in an overpayment by the government. I called the CARES ACT headquarters, and sure enough, on my account alone, the apartment complex was overpaid and never re-paid the government back. When the property manager was confronted with this, she began sending me bogas notices that I still owed past rent. This continued for 2 years and became a form of harassment. I got so fed up with this that I contacted the CARES ACT again. This time they told me they had already been investigating this property manager. They also directed me to report this to the national fraud department.

This company' is horrible, how they are able to freely abuse tenants, I liken them to everything else that's wrong with society! It feels like a set-up for failure! The apartment is great on the inside, but outside, tenants and management are a nightmare! I have never been exposed to such a low class of people! The management company and residents! Nightmare, I am needing out of here!

There is no oversight. Absentee, untrained, idiot managers are still allowed to have jobs. If I could give this rating minus 100 stars, i would. The residents are suffering. The staff is either working way too hard or way too little. Don't apply for housing or employment with this company. Sacrificing your sanity for a few coins is not worth it.
