    RaSolar took my deposit for a battery storage system. It was an expensive deposit. They missed their proposed timeline and I contacted them several times. Each time I was given an excuse. They did finally schedule the battery storage installation. The date came and went with no communication and no one showing up. I reached out again asking for a refund and the owner said he would contact me that evening to discuss if a refund was the best option. I never heard back from him. I have tried called and emailing and no one ever answers. I don't even think this company deserves one star. I am out thousands of dollars.

    I wanted to get solar installed for my home. Went through Energysage and Ra Solar had competitive pricing and at the time, quick turnaround time.I have been working with the since the beginning of the year (2022) and got the contract signed in March 2022. It's been a standstill ever since.....design issues (initial design and revised design) took a few months to City. They've been stuck at this stage since June. Working with Energysage, I've recently sent them a letter to cancel their service request and their work. I have not heard from them since the email.Throughout the process, I have had regular email check-in to both ****** and cc'd to ******, the response were fairly quick initially but then responses got less frequent. In most of the emails, I have always asked about schedule, delay reasons, scheduling updates, design issues. The project was supposed to have been done by June but it's still not at the permit approval process. There are other reviews on yelp.com regarding this company.

    Purchased initial solar system 4 years ago and last year doubled down adding additional panels to system. Original quote included batteries only to find out on day of installation that batteries were not possible due to PGE service.System was installed 1 year ago. As of the moment there is not a valid permit for the work (expired) and has not been inspected by city. For over 6 months monitoring did not work. For the past 6 weeks I have had no power (system totally not functional).Ra seems to be a one man operation and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. I send texts, emails and the occasional voicemail (when the ** isnt full). Communication is near zero. In short:- Paid for system in full - System doesn't ********************* with Ra is almost zero - I am exposed since the system is not inspected even after 1 year of intermittent use.
