I signed up for the $12 a month subscription and was charged $144. Once i noticed, i tried canceling. I was really interested in using this app. But turns out it was a scam to get money. I want my money back! And my daughters picture taken down!Business Response

When charged for a full year, I simply requested a partial refund since my account had been inactive for over 10 months. I did not cancel before the date that I was charged for the full next year, so I asked to be prorated for a months charge. If the account has been inactive for 10 months, it seems unfair business practice to charge for another 12.Business Response

I signed up briefly but within the first couple days lost interest. I always had issues logging in, it seemed complicated to use, it sent an overwhelming amount of emails to my inbox, and none of the listings were near me. So I ended up never using this service. Within a week of it, I honestly forgot it entirely. Had no idea theres an annual charge for it. Problem is they sent so many automated emails that my email classified it as spam and I really just forgot about the entire site once I never saw the name of it pop up in emails again. Was not aware it was an annual subscription that I would be charged for. And if there were any emails warning me of this, they were in spam so I never saw them. Then today I get $108 withdrawn from my account and immediately search the name through my emails like what even is this charge? and within minutes figure out its this site I never used charging me for another year. This has happened to me only one time before, with newspapers.com years ago when my phone broke and the new one didnt have my payment calendar reminders on it, and they were so instantly helpful and reversed the charge since I wasnt using the service and reached out so promptly. I really thought that was the norm. Especially in a time like this when $100+ is so much to someone with small children right after Christmas. But in this case, when I contacted this service within 5 minutes of that charge notification explaining Ive never used the service and cancelled it and asking if I can be refunded since the 5 minute long membership between charge and cancellation was definitely not worth $108, they refused to reverse the payment.So all in all, I found it useless and a colossal waste of my money - at this point feels like highway robbery since I had to pay that much for a grand total of 5 minutes before cancellation. I know thats their ********* feel stupid for it. Just want to warn others that this can happen & its not worth the hassleBusiness Response

Bought the service for one year in 9/16/21. When it was up for renewal on 9/16/22 I called Kidscasting.com to cancel my subscription and renewal. They said it's being processed already and won't be cancelled. I told them to refund if they can't immediately cancel. They said that's a billing issue and that department doesn't take phone calls. Pretty shady. All I want is a refund of $72 for a renewal (that just happened minutes ago) which I don't plan to use at all. Pretty simple resolution.Business Response

I purchased a subscription to this site under the impression I would pay $12/month and could cancel any time. No free trial was available. It was not clear when selecting my plan that the full years amount would be charged all at once. It did not say it was an annual plan - it specifically advertised it as $12/month. So naturally, I was very upset when I was immediately charged $144 with no option for a refund. It should have been made clear that this is not a monthly payment plan, but rather is charged as a lump sum with no refund option. I established a subscription on 9/9/21 while they had a sale for a 12 Month period of kidscasting.com for $120. I was unaware of an auto renewal and was distraught upon seeing another $120 charge in my account this morning (9/9/22). I contacted customer service and cancelled my subscription, I was initially told I didnt qualify for a refund, but they sent their policy and it stated According to our Terms Of Use : You can cancel this agreement without penalty or obligation at any time before midnight of the original contract seller's TENTH BUSINESS DAY following the initial date of this contract, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. To cancel this agreement, mail or deliver a signed and dated notice, or send a telegram that states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement, or words of similar effect.I contacted the billing customer service email provided and they attempted to also tell me that I was not eligible for refund because this wasnt the initial contract, stating that the initial contract was what was started on 9/1/22. However, any business would agree that when a contract is renewed that it is a new agreement, not just a continuation of the original.Any resolution would be great.Thank you.Business Response

I did more research after purchasing a membership with kidscasting.com, finding out it was not a legitimate company. Also when purchasing, it states that the amount would be $7 monthly, but they charged me $84 at once which it does not say they would do.
