    I am writing to file a complaint against Wordtune regarding unauthorized charges to my account. I initially signed up for Wordtune under the impression that I was subscribing to a monthly plan. However, I later discovered that I was charged for an annual subscription instead. This has occurred for two consecutive years without my knowledge or consent.

    Most recently, I was charged $179.88 on 12/13/2024 for an annual subscription that I did not authorize.

    I have tried to resolve this matter directly with Wordtune but found it impossible to contact the company. They do not provide a phone number or email for customer support, leaving me with no way to address this issue.

    I respectfully request assistance in obtaining a refund for the unauthorized charges and in holding Wordtune accountable for its lack of accessible customer support.

    Wordtune editor scammed me out of money. I signed up for a 3-day free trial yesterday, December 16th 2024. I looked on my bank account, and saw that Wortune instead, charged me for the monthly fee of $19.99. I contacted support, however they told me that even though there shouldn't have been a charge for a free trial, they won't issue a return. Also, there is no live person to contact for customer support, just a chat. This is a dishonest and fraudulent company.

    I signed up for a plan with word tune on the 10th of November 2024 with my ****** and made sure it was a free basic plan on the 14th of November 2024 however wordtune charged me $119.88 on November 17th 2024 I contacted word tune on November 18th 2024 and ****** November 18th 2024 after finding out bc it overdrafted my bank account

    I am filing this complaint to address ongoing issues with Wordtunes subscription renewal practices and lack of support responsiveness. Last year, I was automatically charged for subscription renewal and despite I was trying to get a refund they didn't accept my request, resulting in a significant financial loss. Unfortunately, this year, despite canceling my automatic renewal, Wordtune renewed my subscription again without my consent, resulting in a charge of $120. My credit card got charged 120$ today (11/7/2024) and I can't tolerate this unprofessional behavior anymore.I attempted to contact Wordtunes support team regarding this unauthorized charge but received no direct response. Instead, I was met with an automated reply stating that they do not offer refunds, which I find unacceptable under these circumstances.I am requesting immediate assistance to obtain a full refund for this unauthorized transaction, as well as confirmation that my subscription has been permanently canceled to prevent further charges. I appreciate any help in ensuring Wordtune addresses these issues and offers appropriate support for its customers.

    I was billed ****** for wordtune. I've tried to get this resolved with chat, I've sent emails. I need this resolved.2nd email I was charged for Wordtune on my Mastercard. I do NOT have a subscription for this service.     On September 13 I was automatically charged for a recurring subscription fee of $119.88 On September 14 I submit a request to cancel the subscription and be refunded the subscription fee. Wordtune told me that they will not refund me the subscription fee, and that my subscription will continue until September 2025 - even though I requested a cancellation. I would like to be refunded the ****** and have my subscription cancelled.

    Dear Wordtune,I am writing to formally dispute and request a refund for unauthorized charges made to my account for a one-year subscription that I did not agree to. According to the Electronic Funds Transfer Act and the ************************** guidelines on deceptive business practices, it is unlawful for companies to charge customers for services they did not consent to or misrepresent subscription terms.On 8/28/2024, I was charged an amount that was different from what was initially agreed upon, and it was for a subscription term I did not authorize. I did not agree to a one-year subscription with your company, and the unexpected charge has caused financial hardship.I kindly request that you refund the unauthorized amount back to my account promptly.     Wordtune uses an automatic subscription continuation program which charges your credit without any prior notification for a cancellation option. When attempting to do so prior to renewal the ONLY option to cancel at the time was via a chat option, but the chat response was not immediate, rather delayed for 24 hours, just long enough for the charge to take place for another one year of the product! Reputable companies give you 1), notice of renewal approaching, and 2) an option to renew or cancel. The Wordtune model is a trap and a scam, as far as I'm concerned. It is a deceiving and improper business practice!

    8/10/24 Ive tried in the past to cancel my subscription from this service as recently as today, and cant get in touch with them and when I went on their site to cancel, it doesnt bring back an email to detail that this service has in fact been cancelled. I alerted **************** today, but the charge hasnt posted to dispute it as of yet. I dont use this service, they offer no viable way to to reach them, not by phone or chat and the phone number that they leave on the charge isnt in service, customers get a busy signal. I want to report them and would like to get back the $119.88 that was charged.
