- Additional Info:It has come to BBB's attention that timeshare owners with property in Mexico are contacted by Luxury Management Group informing them that they have a buyer for their timeshare. The owners of these timeshares receive documents appearing to be from Banorte Bank located Mexico with escrow information. Information we are receiving indicates that once paperwork/contracts are returned, Luxury Management starts asking the seller for varying amounts of money for what they are told is to cover a international resale tax, federal government tax and escrow fees. It appears that once they feel they can no longer get additional money wired all communication from company stops. Complaints sent to the address we obtained from their web site has been returned by the post office as "no such number". BBB warns consumers against wiring money or sending money orders through Western Union or making your payment to an individual rather than an organization as there are no safeguards in place to protect you.
We are currently investigating this company and ask anyone having any literature or information to please send it to BBB.
