      We contacted Monkey Brains to sign up for their internet service and were informed that a $250 installation fee was required for the necessary equipment. We were also told that there was a 30-day trial period during which we could cancel and receive a full refund if we were not satisfied with the service.The installation took place on April 9th. Over those next few days we noticed problems and, on April 21st, I called to report that it was not working as expected and we were experiencing significant issues. Monkey Brains acknowledged the problem and attempted to address it, sending technicians out multiple times over the following weeks. We were initially told that the company was committed to resolving the issue, including potentially installing additional equipment, but those promises were not fulfilled.Throughout this process, we made multiple follow-up calls and submitted support tickets, many of which went unanswered. Despite our efforts to give the company time to fix the issue, progress stalled. From our perspective, Monkey Brains delayed resolution efforts long enough for the 30-day trial period to expire. Once we were informed that no further action would be taken to improve the service, we requested to cancel and receive a refund, as the service remained non-functional and did not meet the standards initially promised.Monkey Brains is now refusing to refund the $250 installation fee, citing the expiration of the 30-day trial perioddespite the fact that we raised the issue well within that timeframe and allowed them additional time to address it in good faith. We genuinely wanted the service to work and cooperated fully with their troubleshooting efforts, but after weeks of unresolved issues, we are left with a service that doesnt function and equipment we cannot use.We are seeking a full refund of the $250 installation fee, as the service never became operational and the terms of the 30-day trial were not honored in good faith.

      December 18 2023 Monkey brains contacted me to schedule maintenance of their equipment. I was not able to be home during their hours the technician advised he could do the maintenance without me home but asked permission to go on the roof which I did for December 20th. The rains starting on January 16th leaked in same spot the technician had to access equipment. They did not advise they did any damage and just left it only for me to discover it a month later. I took pictures and video of cracked tiles and path made along with water damage inside. Of course all denied by the company of any wrongdoing or remedy of any kind.

      Our service started with Monkey brains internet on 10/12/23 when they installed hardware without our knowing consent, consisting of a dish mounted high on top of our roof. The service was inconsistent from them right away. The following dates and methods to resolve the inconsistency are: By phone on 11/6/23, and by email on 12/17/23, and 01/02/24. When trying to cancel our service they demanded an additional $100 fee to remove the unreliable hardware stating that if we had only contacted them earlier it would be free. We need the BBBs help to have Monkeybrains remove the hardware, return our roof to original uninstalled condition (they literally drilled holes in our roof so we are deeply concerned it will leak when this hardware is removed) and refund us the original installation fee of $115.
