On June 7, 2024 I went to David Carver **** wig shop in ************* for a wig consultation, he told me I had nice hair and didnt need a wig and he recommended a topper and I agreed. I asked him how much it would cost and he said $550 so I paid him a deposit of $275. On June 20, 2024 I went back to get the topper and he did not show it to me he immediately put it on my head and begin to style it. And he told me that I could style it at home. I told him I wanted bangs so he cut a little off of one side to make bangs. Then I asked him if he could show me how to put the topper on my head and take it off, and he did not take it off my head he just unsnapped and snapped the small ***** that attach to your hair to keep the topper on your head. Towards the end of our visit, he was responding to text messages and then a family came in and I was distracted and the session ended and I paid him the remaining $275 for a total of $550. That night when I got home and took the topper off of my head I could see that it looked old and worn, so I sent him a text message and he did not respond. The next morning, I still did not hear from him so I wrote a review on ******* He did not respond. I called his phone number Saturday morning and it went straight to voicemail so I sent him a text message and he still did not respond. I brought the empty box home that he took the topper out of and that night when I opened it up, it was dirty inside. He told me he was selling me a new topper, but he sold me an old worn topper that I cannot style and I have been sick to my stomach since I figured it out because $550 is a lot of money for me. Because he has not responded to my dissatisfaction, I feel like he planned on taking advantage of me the first time I walked into his wig studio.

********************** complaints about the hairpiece she purchased from me are inaccurate and false. I do not sell used merchandise.  The topper  I sold her was new.

I have attached a letter from the manufacturer verifying that the actual wig I sold her was new. When she came to the salon and purchased the item, she thanked me and said she liked the piece. In fac,  she gave me a tip.

My invoice clearly says that all sales are final, and we that we can not accept any returned merchandise

I am rejecting this response because:

What does the letter from Estetica designs have to do with my complaint? They were not present when David put the  topper on my head. How does that prove that he didnt sell me a used topper?

David did not offer me to see the topper before he put it on my head, He DID NOT give me a receipt, and I had to ask to take the box that he took the topper out of, with me.

I realize that I made some mistakes, but I trusted David. I trusted that he was selling me a new topper and that if it didnt meet my satisfaction that he would work with me. He is the one thats giving false information.

    Sincerely,
