    Employer let me go Friday November 29th and is refusing to get me my final check. Also this is the tenth time they short me on my pay check and take days to weeks to finally get paid.

    I signed up for a week trial period for $5. They tried charging me $40 a few days later and now want me to pay $80 to cancel!! Do not go here at all.

    Hello Mr/Ms,
    On Wednesday, I went to the Powerhouse gym in ******* to renew my gym membership. The membership that I purchased was VIP. The price that I paid was $300 in cash. This membership gave me access to all three locations of the gym as well as access to all the equipment. I signed a contract and received a receipt at the end of the transaction. The following day I went to the gym in San Jacinto and they set up my finger scan so I could check in for future visits. Thereafter, I completed my workout and I left. I returned to the gym in San Jacinto on Saturday. I was greeted by the employees in the front as I scanned my finger and continued with my workout, about 10 to 15 minutes into my workout, the employee ***** came back to where I was working out and informed me that I had to leave the gym because I got the membership at the other location. I explained to him that I will not leave the gym because I have a contract and a receipt and I would be happy to show him the receipt. He proceeded to call the police to escort me out. When the police arrived I explained to the officer that I have a contract and showed her the receipt. He responded to the officer by claiming the contract was revoked. Since ***** had just informed me about this, I asked him why they aren't providing me with a refund. He refused to give me a refund and told me to try to get it from the other location. ***** informed me he will send me an email that shows my contract being revoked. However, after I was escorted out I checked my email and the contract he sent to me had no indication that it was revoked. This employee's actions were very unprofessional and unethical. If there was truly an issue with my contract, I should be informed in a respectable manner prior to my entrance to the gym or via letter in the mail. I was humiliated in front of many people, I felt anxious and had a panic attack after this incident.
