I engaged this company to remediate mold after a water leak from a faulty new heat pump condenser at my home. They sent me an invoice with extra items on it which I asked to be removed. I never got a corrected invoice before work started. At the first visit they damaged my walls in multiple areas and only treated half of the moist, mold exposed room, sealing off the other half with no ventilation. As a result this half got worse- more mold and moist. When I complained I was told it was a diff room and not actually within the scope of their original invoice. When I complained a supervisor assured me this would be remedied, they came out to dry and vent the other half of the room and remove the carpet to check underneath. They never removed the carpet on this second visit. They also completely enclosed (left vents taped off, added floor tape, added door tape) to the utility closet where the faulty equipment and our gas hot water heater was even though it wasn't being treated. This caused my hot water heater to be unable to vent and leak carbon monoxide into our open hvac system which was the only air escape for the closet putting my family at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. The two CO monitors we have in the room just for this safety reason were on the other side of the room, in the other treatment area.I can't believe a company of this size would be so unprofessional as to damage my home, have multiple workers tell me different things, not do the work as specified, and finally to put us at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning by preventing gas appliances from venting. I had to call an emergency maintenance worker out in a Saturday to check the hot water heater, relight the pilot and make sure it was drawing with no *** My son who was sitting upstairs at his desk working for hours right by the hvac vent while the gas appliance wasnt venting properly developed a headache, a sign of CO poisoning. I don't want to pay for still incomplete and dangerous services.

AGI provided an estimate and contract for work the client requested we complete.  After signing our contract, she elected to have duct cleaning removed from our scope of work.  We submitted a revised final invoice on 7/26 with these items removed.  The client directed the scope of work that she wanted us to complete and declined areas that she is now stating she wanted us to complete.  The hot water heater closet was contained during mold remediation  and the pilot went out, we disagree with her claim that we risked carbon monoxide poisoning.  Her hot water heater does have a fail safe mechanism that shuts off to prevent this in the case the pilot goes out. *** did a complimentary RH Reading in the area of concern (basement) and the readings were in normal range.  However there does appear to be some ventilation issues in her basement, which have nothing to do with AGI and our scope of work.  We have communicated & provided this information to *********************.

We have been in communication with ********************* to attempt to resolve her concerns and offered to come repair the drywall that got scuffed up when we removed equipment in a tight spot.  Anderson Group International completed the work we are in contract for and we are shocked that this client is now not wanting to pay for these services.
