    Hello, we live at ***** Grosvenor Ct (since Oct 2019) and have never had a problem with garbage can pick up since we moved in, until recently. We live at the back end of our court at the circular part. We always line up our trash cans on the road neatly between our driveway and our neighbors.Last Thursday 8/31/23 our blue recycling garbage can was not picked up. On 8/31/23 I called west valley recycling and was told a white car and a black car were blocking the can so the driver could not pick it up. We asked our neighbors if someone parked directly in front of our cans and they said no. West valley did arrange for the recycling blue can to be picked up on 9/1/23 morning. Today 9/7/23 I got home from work and again the blue recycling can was not picked up. I called West Valley Recycling and spoke with ****** who says the driver says again there were 2 cars blocking the cart. I then told her that our nanny was home and watched the trash cans all day and guaranteed me that no person directly parked their cars in front of our recycling can. I asked ****** for more details and she says well there were 2 cars parked in the court on the side of the road and since the driver couldnt make the turn with his truck because those cars were there he couldnt pick up your recycling can. But there are 3 other neighbors in our circular part of the court and the driver WAS able to pick up all of their recycling today. Only ours was left behind.I cannot control who parks in the circular part of the court and at what time they choose to park there. It is a public road and anyone can park there. I would like for BBB/West Valley to help the driver learn how to maneuver his truck to pick up our recycling trash or maybe find a new driver too service out street. (Our other black and green trash cans, which are also lined up next to the blue recycling can get picked up with no problem at all). Also, I would like to get reimbursed for the days we did not have service.

    ***&R customer service representative called Bharat on 9/18 and Bharat confirmed that carts had been collected on schedule.

    ***&R is monitoring the account to ensure service occurs regularly and as scheduled.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1. West Valleys response is incorrect as they did not speak with ******. They spoke with me, *******.

    2. Despite 2 missed recycling trash pick **** it is clear they are able to pick up the recycling- in the same spot we have always placed it since 2019. We have not received any credit for these 2 missed pick up dates. We would like credit.

    3. I find West Valleys response callus and dismissive -as if all is ok now and it was not a big deal- that they figured out how to pick up our recycling trash, especially since it took a huge effort on my part to contact West Valley multiple times, the city engineer of ************, and the BBB. This does not seem like a better business practice to me.

    We just moved to ********* last week and got issues with our recycling bins not being picked up. I called on the service day to remind them that my recycling bin was not been picked up and I was told that I need to wait until 6pm, but the driver didnt come. I called the office on the second day, I was told the same thing the driver will come to pick up and I need to wait until 6pm. I wait for the entire day nobody came and I did not received any notice about why they skipped my recycling bin. After weekend I called the office this morning again trying to find out what was going on, and I was told that they will inform their supervisor about it and will let the driver to pick up by today. Now its 3pm already and the driver did not show up yetWest Valley Recycling is not fulfilling their obligation! I pay my bill on time but didnt get the service on time, this need to be addressed and their supervisor and the team need to provide a solution for solving issues not always asking their customers to keep waiting, waiting and waiting, because this is not a professional way to do business!

    We have had persistent issues with our recycling bins not being picked up. Its never an issue with our trash - just recycling! West Valley Recycling is not fulfilling their obligation. I always pay my bill on time and they are not providing service they are hired to do. The excuse is often the court/cul de sac I live in has some obstruction. I have lived and owned this property for ************************************************************ so. Around Christmas our bins were full and there were not pickups. I have never received a notice that I have not placed bins correctly, or I have never blocked any access, yet why do we have to have missed skipped recycling pickup. This is a big inconvenience.Where are we supposed to put our recycling when our bins are full and they havent been picked up?

    I closed my account (# ************) on 6/7/2022. At that time, I had paid 4/19/2022 through 6/30/2022. Thus, I am owed a pro rata refund of approximately $32.64. I was told at the time I cancelled that the refund would take 4-6 weeks. When two months passed without the refund, I contacted WVCR on August 2, 2022. At that time, I was told that due to a clerical error on WVCR's end, my refund was not processed, and it would be an additional 4-6 weeks before I received it. It has now been more than 7 weeks since I was told it would be an additional 4-6 weeks (and more than 15 weeks since I cancelled the service). I still haven't received my refund. I have attached the bill, my payment of the bill, and my phone records showing my 3 phone calls to ****************** June 7 (cancelling service); August 2 and 5 (following up on refund).
