About three years ago we contacted orbit design agency to design a website for us. they would design the website and handle any technical issues with it for the lifetime of the website. we were suppose to get a 5 years of hosting for the site, and we would have to renew after the five years. as of right now the website is down due for an unknown reason. when we reached out to the company to see what was going on they said there was something wrong with our host and name, that they would need 500 to fix the name and ***** to host the website. they are charging us for services we already paid for initially. right now our website is down and they are refusing to commit on the promise they made us. they are also refusing to release our information for us to go with another company. I've made a report about them before when we initially started working with them. please help.Initial Complaint

I have two projects I paid for. 1 was to build the website for Avanza my LLC. 2 was the webhosting by GO daddy. ThoseI pad roughly **** usd for over the last 12 months. They made numerous claims to be working on my website and only did partial work each time. I worked with two different manager ***** and ***** who said they would get things moving only to ask me to pay for more services and I did twice. But they never came made it happen so now I have no site and am out of my **** I used on my credit cards to start this purchase. I was told they would refund my $$ in a day then in a hour only to not receive anything at all by ***************************. Thats where I think the criminal comes in. He makes promised over and over to get me off the phone and that to me is a fraud. JCInitial Complaint

In effort of time management, I was forced to configured it, but it is still needs to be optimized. While the plug-in was installed, it has not been optimized. I consider ORBIT to have met 50% of service promised and am requesting refund of $1,194.50.? $3,500 for12 Months of ********************** (SMM) 1 - Since terminating business with Orbit after only 6 months, I am requesting refund of 50% of the $3,500 or $1,750.00 ? $2,000 for hosting over site for 3 years. Services with ORBIT terminated after only 2 months or 5.56% of 3-year term. For the past two months we have been doing business with this company. They were suppose to create a website for our non profit organization. From November of 2022 to present we have yet to complete the website and they are requesting more and more money. The type of money they are requesting was never agreed upon upfront so it is confusing me why they keep requesting money form us. At this point we have already given them all of our info and money and we cannot afford to start the whole process over with a different company as we are on a strict time limit. They continue to miss deadlines, not show up for meetings and updates. I have to reach out to their rep at least 8 times a day just for them to return my call once! He always has a new excuse as to why he cannot show up to the meetings we both set and agreed upon.Initial Complaint

My experience with this company has been absolutely horrid. I purchased all the upgrades in good faith that they would deliver. But they didn't, everything took forever to do, we would talk about needs I would purchase the upgrade for that then all of a sudden I needed to pay for something extra because blah blah blah. Finally I was getting annoyed at the lack of progress that was occurring in addition to the misspellings and simple errors that I would consistently catch on the little that was actually worked in on my project. I finally said forget it, I want a refund. This was in March, they still owe me $6645.00 in refund and the last excuse I got was that their merchant is blocking the transaction- and to hold tight... after more than 8 month of me consistently calling and emailing and patiently waiting for my refund. I hired them for a simple website in Jan 2022, and it is now Dec 2022. Started off going back and forth for months with the design and I always gave them the benefit of the doubt as to why it was taking so long. Around August, all my patience and 8 months later, it seemed to me that they were not interested in completing my site- it still lacked certain very important functions which they were very aware that I needed to have on the site. They then told me that it needed to be hosted first before all these functions could be worked out, which ended up being a complete and utter lie. Since I was so drained from this experience and simply wanted my website completed, I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt and paid them around $1000 for their hosting service to get the job done. They even recommended that I shouldn't do it with another company since it wouldn't work as well as theirs would, and I agreed since I didn't want them having any other possible excuse as to why they couldn't finish the website. About a month after this additional payment to them, they then told me that the site STILL couldn't be completed to the proper functionality as they had promised and committed to complete, and that I would now need to pay MORE money to get it done. At this point, in September, I demanded a refund. After multiple exchanges back and forth, they finally emailed me confirming I would get my money back mid-November. This date came and went with no money returned to me, and it turns out they lied AGAIN that my money was sent when it had not been from their end at all. Spoke to them yet again and we finally came to an agreement that the hosting fee be returned since it was paid out under clearly fraudulent practices by them. It is now mid-December and I STILL haven't received a cent back from them. I've followed up countless times, and they simply continue to lie to me, saying it was sent.
It's now a full year later and I still don't have a website or the refund.Initial Complaint

Decided to go with the company for my website design and the experience has been nothing but disappointing. Firstly, every call lead to additional charges of $1k here and another $2k there. Even after being told there would be no further charges they continued to ask for thousands more dollars until I asked for a refund. We are now 3 months past the given deadline and now no one will return my calls or emails in weeks until recently. We are no closer to a completed website than we were over a month ago. I still do not have a completed website and I am out over $3k. I have done my best to resolve my concerns with the company directly to no avail. At this point, I am not expecting my website, I simply want refund of my $3,000. I can provide copies of emails if requested.
