    On March 11th, 2023 Stanley Steemer's crew member ********* and ************************* came to my house for carpet cleaning, I am currently serving in the military therefore I was not home when they arrived at my house, my husband was the one who was home, I booked the carpet cleaning appointment with that company two weeks prior from that cleaning date, and during the time of estimation they provided me with a quote for around $400 with four rooms a hallway and two sets of stairs, but on the day of arrival, the crew told my husband that the stairs are not included and made him paid a extra $100 on the spot or else they won't clean the carpet, the only reason why I made the appointment for the cleaning was because the estimate was in a acceptable range for me, should I know they would be changing the amount charged on the day of I would never book the service, on top of changing the amount, they even added "protection coat" on the carpet without informing my husband but later ended up charging him additional amount, which later that day the bill came up to be $547, when I got home the next day the carpet was not all the way cleaned, dirt still appeared when I try to vacuum it after the carpet was all dried up, and when I called them seeking for a explanation for such ***** work done less than an hour for such an expensive amount, the manager simply told me there's nothing they can do about it but to offer me a military discount for any further cleaning, after that very experience with them I am beyond disappointed, please look into this company I am sure there are other customers who were scammed just like my family.
