I applied for a position with Penumbra, a business in *********, **. I showed up for the assessments in February 2024, they offered me the position and I accepted. I then was emailed by a temp agency called Human Bees, who staffs Penumbra, and I was routed to a link where I filled out documents giving all of my personal information. I was given a date to show up for training of March 11. On that date, I arrived to Penumbra for my first day of work, but I was told I could not come in as I was not on the list. I went home, disappointed, and made multiple attempts to contact Human Bees to find out why I was not allowed to start my new job that I had accepted. To date, I have been unsuccessful at getting my recruiter to email me back or answer a phone call. I looked up Human Bees online, and found many other similar stories. Now I am concerned that this is a scam organization, and they now have my personal identifying information, and could very easily compromise my identity. At this point, I have accepted that I will most likely not work at Penumbra, but I would like someone from Human Bees to contact me to confirm that my personal information is discarded of properly by all those who have access.
