    SCAM!I was given a number and Reference ID from a contact on ******** marketplace who was giving away her deceased wife's baby grand piano DC ****************** and provide his name: ************************************** and Referral ID SBGP29055MG to an agent via their live chat on their website at www.dctransportationinc.com to initiate a reroute. I was given a quote of $450 for 10 days out and to pay by paypal or zelle and send a screenshot that the payment was complete. Once I did, they sent a receipt (attached below) confirming payment and said the piano would be delivered at 2pm on June 15. I later found the phone number on the invoice and looked it up and found this BBB. Initiating refund with the customer and on paypal as well.

    I found a posting on ******** marketplace for a free ************** grand piano out of ********. I was told it was her sister selling it and was given her email address. She told me it was her deceased husbands piano and he wouldnt have wanted her to sell it due to his passion for the instrument. She told me to contact RB Piano Movers via their live online chat so they could re-route the piano to my house. I contacted them and was given a referral ID from this seller and to tell them she referred me to RB Piano Movers. I was given 3 quotes for delivery of 3/5/7 day delivery and chose 7 day for $495. They told me I had to set up and use Zelle through my bank account and send a screenshot of my payment. Halfway through I found the other complaint on BBBs website that matched my experience verbatim. Thankfully I got out of it before I sent them my money! This is a SCAM, do not send them your money!

    I was given a number and Reference ID from a contact on ******** marketplace who was giving away her deceased husbands baby grand piano for the price of moving it because she was moving to a smaller place. I was to contact RB Piano Movers, provide her name: ***************** and Referral ID SAM190SMG to an agent via their live chat on their website at www.rbpmovingllc.com to initiate a reroute. I was given a quote of $495 for 7 days out and to pay by ***** and send a screenshot that the payment was complete. Once I did, they sent a receipt (attached below) confirming payment and said the piano would be delivered at 4 pm on March 3rd. On Mon March 6th, I had not heard anything so I contacted them by phone - there was no answer but a recording to contact through live chat through the website. The rep looked up the referral code and said it wasnt delivered because I owed an additional $500 for interstate taxes. This was never mentioned, or stated on the receipt. The rep simply said sorry to hear that it wasnt mentioned. Im assuming a scam at this point and requested a refund for the $495. Fraud was was confirmed when the chat person stopped answering and after 9 tries, no one answered the phone and the email I was given bounced back.
