I found a seller on Facebook called “FORD AUTO SPARE PARTS” offering a Ford Bronco hardtop at a price too good to be true. I was suspicious but asked questions to see if it was legitimate. After researching, I found that PayPal’s “Goods and Services” option would protect me if the product didn’t arrive, so I felt confident enough to proceed. The seller initially mentioned shipping through DHL, but when I asked for another option, they offered UPS, which I agreed to. However, after the transaction, they gave me a tracking number for a company called GlobalPackageXpress.com, which I’d never heard of. When I checked the tracking information, it claimed the package was being picked up in Utah and delivered to Virginia on the same day I made the purchase which seemed unrealistic for such a large item.
I called the company, and the person who answered only said, “Hello,” without identifying the business. When I asked who it was, he rudely replied, “You called me.” I asked if it was Global Package Express, and he mumbled something unclear before telling me to “just text” him and hanging up. This confirmed my suspicion it was a scam. After more research, I found a complaint on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website about the same shipping company. Another buyer had purchased Jeep parts and was scammed similarly, with the shipping company demanding extra insurance and fees, but the parts never arrived. I called the shipping company again and to my surprise, the same person answered the phone as before, still acting clueless when I confronted him, saying I knew it was a scam. He hung up immediately. When I called back, the number was suddenly out of service. When I tried to reach the seller using their contact information, the call went straight to voicemail, which was tied to a Google Voice account. At this point, I knew for sure the entire thing was a scam. Not sure yet if using the goods and services option on PayPal will return my money.

I purchased and paid $350 for headlights on and shipping for my Jeep online. I received a tracking number. Then I received a text message asking for $111.00 for shipping insurance that I paid.
Next, I got another text asking for $149.00 for fees requesting delivery to my state. I did pay that. The next text message asked for $117.00 for border protection regulations. I paid the fee twice because they said they didn't receive it the first time.
Next they asked for $100 for the driver. I did not pay that. I still did not receive the package. Then they said I abandoned my package and asked for a $250.00 fine. I asked for a refund. They asked me to send money Western Union to Cameroon South Africa. I did not send money. I again asked for a refund.
They have requested more money multiple times. I have asked for a full refund. I was told that I needed to pay the abandoned package fine then I would get a refund. I tried calling but their number was not in service.
Now, they are saying I have caused them stress. They also want more money to pay for their broken van before they can deliver my package. I have asked for a refund many times.

On May 15 2024 I paid for the headlight
    On May 16 2024 I paid Insurance
On May 17 2024 I pad city permit is mandatory,
    On May 18 2024 I pad 116 twice.
