1 starThis is the second time I have ordered from this company but this order takes the cake. I placed my order on June 18th, paying for 1-3 day delivery. I received an email stating my order was in ************ 3 days ago ( I live in ***********) a 3 hour drive from ************. I then received an email today June 24th, stating they just created a label for my shipment!!! I called customer service and was told part of my order wad on back order, ( this was not reflected when placing my order) but the other had shipped on 6/12??? As I said today is 6/24!!!! This company is a scam and has business practices that the government needs to review!! Trust me pay a few more dollars with a reputable company and stay ****** away from this one. ZERO stars!!! This company is at best inept. I will never order from them again. My order was wrong from the beginning. I ordered 3 items. I received one needle threader, one NT was backordered and the zipper foot was missing. The packing slip shows it was included. I the end I received 3 needle threaders and no zipper foot. I let them know by phone and email I no longer wanted the zipper foot. I no longer needed it after a month long wait. After multiple phone calls, emails and an attached image of what I received, I ended up with a partial refund. I was sent a shipping label to return the missing zipper foot. I had never returned anything yet was told I wouldn't receive a credit until my package arrived. According to tracking it was still in transit. I was also told the zipper foot was actually still in the warehouse. Did I still want it? No. I didn't want to return one of the needle threaders to add even more confusion to the mix. I asked for m refund before sending it. I talked with ***** and ******. Both did nothing but blame others. ****** truly tried to help, but obviously had her hands tied.Sewing Machines Plus

Hi ****, We offered to send you this missing foot or issue you a refund for the missing foot. You chose to take the refund which we issued. We apologize for the confusion, you did not pay full price of $34.99 for the foot because you had a discount coupon on the order. We issued you a refund for what you paid for the foot minus the discount that was applied. I hope that clears this up. We appreciate your business and apologize for the issue you had with your order. Thank you for the return call after my review. I did apologize for my error on the coupon. Yes, I was offered a new foot. This was after multiple phone calls about the missing foot and multiple requests to cancel the order due to the delay with the missing order. I understand there can be occasional errors in shipping, but, the number of errors, being told my refund needed to wait for my in-transit return to arrive-I sent nothing as my order was missing. After my 4th call, again you offered to send the foot I no longer needed nor wanted. Sorry/not sorry, I won't be shopping with you again. 1 starI ordered a three-piece ruler foot set for my Grace ******** When I checked the tracking for the order number I was emailed, I was told my order didnt exist. I called SMP and the woman I spoke to said the item came from Grace directly; SMP is essentially a dropshipper. She said theyd reach out to the Grace *** and have them contact me. I was not contacted. After two days, I called back again and requested they just cancel my order. I explained that I wanted it canceled, refunded, and I wanted a confirmation-of-cancellation email. I had the woman verify my email. I also know they have the correct email on file because I get about 5 promotional emails a day from them. I have neither received my refund, nor the confirmation email I requested. I spent $146 for no item, no insight, and horrible customer service. 1 starIf I could give ZERO stars I would. This company deserves no stars! This company is a liar and a fraud and should be taken out of circulation! Do not trust them! Everything on their website is on back order and I mean, seriously back ordered by months! How do they do business is beyond me because they do not have the products they advertise in stock, or if so, in very small quantities. I have have been extremely frustrated following up on orders with them and have been waiting 2 months for simple items like bobbins and needles. I ordered from them using a gift certificate or Id never have ordered from them again. Ive looked at 4 other websites that have the products I want so whats wrong them that after two months they just cant get my stuff to me. I believe they are fraudulently advertising stuff they dont have and dont seem to be able to procure. For example, I searched for stabilizers and of the 7 listed on their site, FOUR are out of stock, 2 say low stock ( 1 or 2 remaining) and 1 seems in stock. They really dont have any stock and lure you in with promise of quick delivery . And one order they sent through **** was stuck in the system for 6 weeks. I placed the order on Feb 6 and didnt receive the incomplete order till March 13! Something they did wrong Im sure . Then there were 3 items missing which to date April 1st, have not been received. I had a similar experience with them last fall when I first tried to use my gift certificate and everything was on back order ! I hate these people and I was hoping to receive everything I ordered to use up my gift certificate, and then never order from them again and warn others from using them.Review fromSteven F

Same day shipping is a joke, I've had to contact them 3 times about my order from a week and a half ago and it still hasn't shipped. Online chat people never have access to the system so they always say to call the number. The people who answer the phone are very apologetic, but the order still isn't shipped. They should remove the same day shipping and delivery within 3-5 business days from their website.Sewing Machines Plus

Customers order has shipped. She was emailed tracking to her email on 2/7. We changed the shipping to expedited at our expense for the delay. Her package is expected to be delivered today according to the tracking information.

Do not order from them. My well meaning husband ordered me a Juki and teflon foot in early November (it's now December 15). They were supposed to ship within 10 days of placing the order. We received the wrong teflon foot- a Babylock. When he inquired about the machine, he was told that it's shipping any day direct from the manufacturer and we would receive an email with shipping information. Not surprisingly, we have not and will now need to contact our credit card company regarding this fraudulent company.Sewing Machines Plus

1 starI bought a Baby Lock sewing machine from Sewingmachinesplus.com, after testing it out in a local store. The sale went smoothly, no surprise. The problem came when I found that the machine was problematic on several of the most important things, related to the stitching, function, and overall sewing experience. I was stopped cold with my sewing projects. I spoke numerous times with a service person at the business. They told me to use better thread, and gave me tips about setting the tension, etc. I followed all of their advice, with zero results, leaving me with what I consider a lemon. I registered it upon purchase, so it was warranted. I spent almost $100 to ship and insure it to them, and I still have a non-functioning machine. Upon receiving it back, I asked what the problem was, and they said they had to adjust the timing. (Why should that be for a brand new machine?) I wanted them to service it so that it worked. When I asked the guy at Sewingmachinesplus,com about my taking it to a local vendor for repair, he said that they would not likely work on it unless I bought it there. When I called Baby Lock, I was told that, per contract with Baby Lock, vendors who sell Baby Locks are required to service their machines. Then, if they determined that it needed more work, they should then ship it (at my cost again) to Baby Lock. I have over 50 years of sewing machine experience, and have sewn on many machines. I have never spent this much money on a machine, and never had such a terrible experience from a seller. I do not feel they have handled my case to any kind of satisfaction. Its been nothing but headaches, leaving me with no sewing machine to use, and I am out of over $1,300. I DO NOT recommend buying a machine online, particularly from Sewingmachinesplus.com! 5 starsI've been a customer of ******************** for 4 years and have had great service from them. I bought a King ******* II Elite longarm and frame from them in Oct. 2020. Tech support, when I've needed them, has been top notch. I bought a robotics system from them 2 yrs ago, and then I bought a Juki sewing machine from them a few weeks ago. I give this business a zero star rating. Never, ever, ever, ever buy a machine from them. bought a new embroidery machine from them that does not work. I've tried and tried, but itkeeps having every issue imaginable. When I try to get customer service from them they are never available. Who can sit around the phone forever and wait for their call that rarely comes. When it does, they are not much help. They just try to sell you some more software. Yea, sure. I wouldn't buy anything else from them. They said I had a money back guarantee, but now say I have had it too long. It's taken me this long to figure out it doesn't ************ your hard-earned money elsewhere! Live and learn. I think the new ones all come from Tawain now. The old ones hold their value better and work better too. *************************** ************ just wants to drain money out of you. I give them a one only because I have to to submit.
