1st the company representitives are extremely un helpful standoffish and find any excuse not to help (please read reviews online theres so many). 2nd i believe they prematurely and incorrectly diagnosed my warranty claim. I feel claim was not taken seriously. But instead I was quoted something of a loophole. a twist of regulations to use against claim in a situation that had nothing whatsoever to do with the regulation.3rd (Main Problem) since they denyed my claim i simply ordered the one single damaged part and even included the skydio part number to assist the service team at Skydio. But instead of helping me they refused to sell me my much needed 'proprietry part' 'only found at Skydio'. They said they can fix at my expense, that they dont allow consumers to do their own repairs and to send them $150 usd and my disassembled drone and they would repair it at around $300 and take the $150 off the price upon completion. This is against consumer rights i belive. one instance is The RIGHT TO REPAIR law giving consumers the right to choose. To choose where they get the repair done and/or choose to do repair themselves at home. Either way the vendor having propietry parts for a specific product must comply. They must sell items to consumer at his/her request and at a reasonable rate. please see below: -The right to repair law, called the 'Digital Fair Repair Act' was put in place so that customers no longer have to take their damaged or broken electronic products back to the original makers to get an authorized expensive repair, not voiding the warranty and can instead fix things like phones or laptops or other electronic devices themselves, or take them to lower-cost independent repair shops. Since deemed a consumer right breaking these terms are 'only valid if the manufacturer provides free warranty service' and/or free replacement parts.-4th i did not agree to send drone. I was coaxed and charged 150, refused repair, and had my parts stolen by skydio

I purchased a Skydio 2 drone in May of 2021 as a hobbyist. I was very satisfied with the capabilities of the drone for a very long time. My warranty expired May 18, 2022. In the beginning of June, 2022 my Skydio Drone updated itself. I had flown it dozens of times including over water up until that point. On June 26th, 2022 I flew my drone from my boat. I have done this before numerous times. *Note: No, it wasn't very windy AND No, the water was not glassy* Anyway, I launched the drone and it wasn't very reactive to begin with. This has happened in the past. I used the controls and figured I would just climb and gain altitude. That has ALWAYS worked. At this point, I had 100% control of the drone. I start telling it to climb, and it starts to before it starts blinking yellow telling me it is unhappy. Odd... NEVER happened before. let me see if I can climb out of this and I will fly it directly back over to me where the case is and maybe get it to land. NOPE. The drone started descending rapidly even though I was telling it to climb. I look at my hand, yep, I am definitely telling this thing to climb and it is NOT listening to my commands... mind you I was just climbing right after launch. And 100% because my drone was not listening to me, it crashed into the Magothy river. Because of the update Skydio made, it overrode my controls and crashed itself into the water. It is a 100% loss. Because I was NOT controlling the drone at that point, Skydio was, I beleive this crash and loss is 100% Skydios fault. If Skydio makes software that crashes a drone into water against the operators will, Skydio is at fault for the damages. Mind you, what if I was over land and it did this... it could injure someone. Heck, it could have injured a swimmer over water. I believe Skydio owes me a new drone since their software forced the drone to land in water against the operator's (My) will. Skydio is absolutely at fault here and has declined to replace the drone they crashed
