    caccia plumbing took advantage of my 93 year-old mother. Originally called out to fix a running tank. My mother said she needed her other toilet fixed. The technician said she needed a new toilet and he just happened to have one in his truck. He never discussed options for any other toilet, he came in with the toilet that had no box and left no warranty paperwork. He had worked on the other toilet that probably cost $300 and my mother would never want $1000 toilet.The estimate said nothing about the type of toilet he was going to install. Her home is very modest and 65 years old. The other toilet that he worked on was basic. He installed a toilet that was $1000 and never discussed that with my mother. When he gave her the invoice that came to $3489 it said the toilet was special ordered and non-returnable. When I called their office, they refused to tell me what their flat fee was And barely admitted that they chose to install a $1000 ********* one knows where the additional $2500 came from. A basic toilet usually cost no more than $500 and an installation certainly doesnt cost more than $500. My father died last year and my mother is not familiar with costs, but this one was astronomical. As my mother was giving him cookies and coffee she just wrote a check. I consider this to be elder abuse. I find it amusing that the website has a senior discount listed, which was another thing they certainly did not mention to my mom. I would not trust this company to be decent and honest. We have asked for them reduce the $2000 installation fee to something more reasonable. They offered a $50 check! Looking online the hourly charge for a plumber is between 45 and $65 in ****************. There is literally no way they came up with a $3489 charge to install a toilet and absolutely no way they discussed the type of toilet that could be installed. My mother has been so stressed out, and losing sleep, because she feels so totally abused by this company.

    Would love to give zero stars. Stay FAR away from this business. After being customers for close to 10 years on the ******************** side, we reached out to have an additional electrical outlet installed outside. After coming out to survey the job, we received a quote the same day. While it was significantly higher than 2 other quotes, we felt confident in using Caccia because we had success in the past. We scheduled the service to be completed. On the day the work was to be completed (5 days after we SIGNED A CONTRACT), Caccia called 10 minutes prior to the time they were to start and cancelled. They stated they had found things that were left out of the original quote and were going to be unable to complete the service that day and would get back to us with an updated quote. There was no explanation as to how or why they came to this conclusion. No one had been back to our house to reexamine anything. We were told the updated quote would be done by days end. This never happened. The next day it was emailed to us and it was DOUBLE the original cost. Bait and switch. Unprofessional. Unethical. There only response was how we should be grateful they didn't come out and do the job and then charge us double the cost after the fact.
