    I received an approval letter with instructions on such letter to send  payment via paypal at ********************. A Licensed real estate broker mediated for the rent to own program. see attached letter received from UTOPIA. I do not Believe this mas a mistake or that i was scammed by anyone else but Utopia.

    Hello,

    Sorry to the one to inform you, but you were scammed. We do not use Paypal to exchange or receive money for deposits or rent. We request certified funds and that is after we physically meet you and have a signed lease agreement with background financial checks.  We would suggest contacting Paypal to see if there is something you can stop payment on or seek a refund. If you have any additional questions, please call our corporate office **************. We are sorry that you have had this experience and unfortunately this is a serious common problem and the websites themselves also have a disclaimer alerting the user before sending money.

    We are based in ********* and do not work with Brokers or agents to rent out our properties. We have our own staff to directly handle these transactions. That is also not our letter head or logo we use for our company. Please visit our website to see our logo and how we direct our rental inquires. Applications are done through our website and communicated through a secure portal. Again, we are sorry for your troubles.
