This is my second complaint against this company, they have responded back from the first inquiry, with a check from ***************, when I deposited the check, Carguard forwarded instructions so that my bank could not honor the deposit, and took the money I withdrew from my personal account. The amount is still owed by this company, I have contacted them multiple times, it has been over two weeks for a money wire directly to my bank account they asked for the my bank and routing number and I have completed. I was informed they would wave a letter I sent, that they never received because it was not notarized, after the first BBB contract, I was told I would not needed and that another check would be issued, I waited three week, contacted them again, and changed the second issued check to direct deposit through a wire and another waiting now of two weeks, the company stated wiring is done on Fridays, it has been two Friday and still no transfer to my bank account.This matter of my contacting them has been going on for over a year, after I cancelled my unused contract with them, and they are still refusing to refund me the money I would like returned, they are refusing to fully cooperate and this is the second time I am having to confirm this matter.Initial Complaint

I purchased a car warranty for my 2015 Chrysler 200s from "car guard" ************** and they will not honor the warranty. On Saturday April 27th an engine light came on when my wife was driving the car home. she drove the car 3 miles home and parked the car. She then contacted the dealership on Monday morning April 29th and they said to bring the car right in. E-Golf Chrysler, Brevard, N.C. *****. **************. ******** works at the service desk. they quickly diagnosed the problem as a water pump problem. ******** contacted Car Guard. Car Guard contacted my wife and told her that because she drove the car after the engine light came on, that they would not honor the warranty. I have been trying to contact Car Guard for a written warranty contract.Initial Complaint

I was told by ***** that a person with the last name " ***** " manually pushed a payment through without my authorization on January 26th ****. Mepco told me my automatic payments were turned off in December... and when I talked to ******** the company, 5hey insulted me and told me that I have problems and that I was broke. ***************************** and a person by the name of ***** are who I got names of since I've last talked to them. I talked to 3 guys there. The first guy is the man that insulted me on January 26th ****. He said he was a supervisor and that all calls were monitored so it should've been recorded. All 3 people have been rude to me and refused to give me HR number and cancel my account. They stole money from me.Initial Complaint

I have been with this company since October of **************************************************************** to immediately take it to the nearest ************ My car stayed at the *********** with nothing done to it due to jr **** protect saying it was pre-existing .I never had a problem with my car .I called to ask why they told me because I had a oil leak. That was not why I took my car to the ************ I took it because it was saying transmission malfunction on my dash I don't know what a small oil leak has to do with a transmission malfunction at all ! I asked to stop services with them and I would like a refund they told me no.I figured if I never had filed a claim then I could get my money back that I paid every month .The customer service representative was very smart mouthed and continued to say no we are not giving you any money back! I am seeking legal help but all I wanted was what I paid in ! I feel scammed, used and disrespected! I have anxiety badly and for them to talk to me in such a way and take my hard earned money is not helping wit it at all ! Again I just want what is rightfully mine.Business Response

After reviewing the complaint, it has been determined that this person DOES NOT HAVE a vehicle service contract with our company. In fact, we have reached out and spoke to the consumer and obtained a copy of his extended warranty program. His paperwork clearly indicates ******** is his insurance provider. Below I will copy and paste since I am having trouble attaching as a file.

Administrator means ****************************, whose principal place of business is 1776 *****************************************************************, which is the entity that is obligated to perform hereunder. THE CUSTOMER UNDERSTANDS AND HEREBY AGREES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE, AND THAT THIS CONTRACT WILL BE BY AND BETWEEN THE ADMINISTRATOR (****************************) and the Applicant.

I purchased this contract in April 2022 with ************ co. Their insurance company is with ********. This is the company in having problems with. I filled a claim on my 2017 ****** rogue in December where they didn't even cover half the cost using different excuses, I wasn't happy.So I called carshield and set up a policy with them but cancelled it the same day. I filed another claim on February 15th 2023 and it's still being denied. First it was going back 2 years to find all oil change and service records, I came up with all but 1, sent it to them and it took all week, I didn't hear a word from them till I called and found out it was denied again because they wanted proof I cancelled carshield, which I did send that to them. Still denied because I'm missing that 1 oil change info. ****** doesn't require any maintenance on the transfer case, so what does oil changes and maintenance records have to do with transfer cases? That's what this claim is all about, my transfer case on my 2017 ****** rogue. I don't know where to go out what to do next. I've been without a car for almost 2 weeks and still no resolution.Initial Complaint

I previously filed against this company in regards to the false accusations that the company representative filed . My request for car repairs was denied due to false info. After speaking with ************************* at ***************, he was very optimistic that he could get the claim overturned and repairs done. I emailed him copies of my maintenance oil change and my bill of sale for my car. Reassured me he would be working on this and sending all the info to CarGuard. This all took place on august 18. Till this day, august 31, I havent been able to speak with him after several attempts and being told that he would call me back. On august 22 I called in and again was told he wasnt available and the message would be given to him. Also told by the service rep that the notes read that ****, from Carguard should have reached out to me with an update. She didnt and has never done so. On today august 31, I made several attempts to speak with ****, but each time the call was intercepted by another rep. *** last person I was able to speak to was someone name *** . He stated he would look into it and give me a call right back. *** never called so after an hour, ****, I called. *** lady in service read the notes that *** put in the system stating that he called ***** and was told that I was informed that the claim had been denied for continued driving of the car and that when the Inspector came out the car wasnt available. I was never made aware of any of this information. *** service rep could not give me a date nor a time nor a location of where the car was supposed to be inspected. I find these managers and reps to be very unprofessional and liers. I have been unjustly treated by **************** And ***** .
