I am beyond furious and disappointed with how the leadership at Mission College ************************ and ***********-Mission Community College District has treated my child and us. New Program Director ******* ******** *******, who claimed has more than 23 years experience in early child education, has completely dropped the ballignoring several incidents of staff misconduct, and where my child was physically mistreated but blaming him for speech delay; and also lied about "cleaning up toys" something we were never told was an actual requirement that not even existed the Parent's Handbook. And then theres Vice Chancellor of ******************* from ***********-Mission Community College District, *****************. I really have to askdoes she even have the authority to be handling preschool issues? Shes from the finance department, for goodness sake! Instead of providing clear answers or even showing any empathy, all she did was hide behind bureaucracy and refuse to explain why my child was suddenly labeled as needing "extra support" by ******. She completely ignored my childs speech delay, like it didnt even matter. Its almost like they're discriminating against children who need extra understanding due to speech delays. They are even running an adult training program for **************************** Is that really the kind of environment theyre running? Finally, the direct's Chancellor ******* ***** got involved and sent me an email that was cold and impersonal, just saying my childs enrollment would end based on some so-called, but unjust policy that doesnt even apply to us. And the worst part? The handbook doesnt even back up what theyre saying. His email was a perfect example of dismissive and bureaucratic attitude of how an institution can totally ignore the actual well-being of children. And on top of that, theyre discriminating against kids with speech delays like mine, who need patience, not judgment.
