I visited ****** Skin Institue on 1/26/2023.I want to ask a question about very tiny mole behind my ear. The mole is super tiny. I visit ****** to ask if I am able to remove it or not, and how much will it cost. After they check my insurance card, they asked me to copay $80, plus cost for procedure. I asked them if there will be extra cost, they say no and confirmed the cost charged me is a full package. Then I paid full amount for both co-pay and for the whole procedure. The procedure went well, only took about 5 minutes for two times, total 10 minutes. Then I receive the bill of extra $196.65 which I am very shocked and unhappy about. The bill listed Shaving Skin ****** as $245 which I never requested, never received such training, and there is no need for such service, not sure where this charge came from. The bill also shows Tissue exam $125 from ********** (not sure who this provider is) and I never requested such service. Therefore, I request to credit the $245+125=$370 to my account and refund me any difference that I have paid to.Also, the clinic should not misleading the general public for the charges that intends inclusive package and then add on charges such as shaving ****** that has nothing to do with the original service, and never agreed upon by the party to receive the service. I would strongly the clinic review the pricing quotation procedure and make it as clear guideline to general public going forward. This will ensure the customer satisfaction and increase the ethic as professional service provider.
