I bought two pairs of shoes (buy one get one), both of which have similar protrusions that continuously press against the top of my feet when I wear them, even when I loosen the laces. When I attempted to return them to "Mainland Skate & Surf", citing that the design of the shoes caused discomfort and swelling on the top of my feet, they refused my refund request, stating that the shoes had been worn and were unsellable.I believe there are two reasons why the store should allow my refund:1. The pair of shoes that the store claims cannot be resold after being worn were only worn for one afternoon, and before returning them, I properly cleaned off any dust. I believe their condition is no different from the shoes in the store, as the ones I tried on in the store were not exceptionally clean either.2. I am not requesting a refund under the "no reason" policy; rather, I am citing a design or quality flaw in the shoes as the reason for the refund request. Therefore, regardless of the condition of these two pairs of shoes, the store should allow me to return them for a refund. Because this is a quality issue with the shoes, even if I return them, they should not be put back on the shelves for resale.
