    I am writing to formally file a complaint against Interview Kickstart (IK) for failing to deliver the promised services despite full payment, and for not issuing a refund despite multiple requests.Key details of the situation:The transaction - October 5, 2024.The first payment of $6,100 was made on December 3, 2024 as they suggested through Climb Credit.Under consumer protection laws regarding failure to deliver paid services, I am entitled to a refund for services not rendered.5. Denial of Refund:IK has refused to issue a refund or address the issues satisfactorily. Initially, I reached out to IK to enroll in the basic service. However, I was subsequently persuaded to upgrade to a more expensive program based on misleading and false assurances. I was explicitly promised immediate support for interviews, a 100% money-back guarantee, resume building, LinkedIn optimization, and clarification of technical terms. Unfortunately, none of these services were delivered as promised. ******** times have been unreasonably delayed, and I have not received the support I was led to believe I would. This has left me feeling stressed and unsupported, especially as I prepare for important interviews. In hindsight, I regret my decision to enroll in this program, given the misleading information and unfulfilled promises.Therefore, I am requesting a full refund. I trust that you will honor this request promptly, as I do not believe the current situation is fair or acceptable.I am requesting that the Better Business Bureau assist in mediating this issue and ensuring that IK honors my refund request as they have clearly failed to provide the services promised. I have also attached the email from the agent outlining the services that were promised. At no point was I informed that this program is non-refundable, nor did I sign any agreement acknowledging such terms.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against "Interview Kickstarter" for their misleading practices and failure to fulfill their commitments.On Thanksgiving 2023, I felt pressured to make a quick decision regarding their program. I received multiple calls urging me to sign the contract due to a "promotion." I clearly stated that I would only enroll if I could complete the program by March or April 2024, as I was starting my Masters program at the *********************** (***) in Spring 2024. The company assured me that "the program only lasts 2-3 months", and their website also advertises it as a "15-week" long program (evidence attached) and promised that I would be well-positioned to start a job at a ************ (********, ******, *******, ******) by May. Based on these assurances, I agreed to enroll and pay $3,900.Interview Kickstarter offers a 1-week trial, and during this trial period, their website displayed a schedule of weekly classes concluding in the promised timeframe. This further reassured me that I could finish the program in time for my Masters studies.However, a few weeks into the course, I was notified that "the session was rescheduled due to the instructor's availability," and core courses would not start until April or May 2024. This delay conflicts with the start of my Masters program, leaving me unable to participate. I am working full-time, and my courses at USD have also begun. Had the program run as promised, I would have completed it successfully.I feel misled and pressured into enrolling under false pretenses. I am still making monthly payments of $346.99 via Affirm for a service I cannot use, and failure to pay will affect my credit. The company misrepresented the timeline and enrolled me without having an instructor available. They displayed false information during the "trial period" and misled me. I request your assistance in addressing this issue.

    I signed up for Machine Learning Switch up course with 2 weeks of initial trial. During the initial 2 weeks I came to understand the courses are more geared towards developers, and expressed my interest to drop out and refund. But the operations of the company kept insisting me to continue the course, an continue to pay. I was not prepared. So I expressed with the dis-pleasure. Finally I agreed to put the course on hold until I can find time or make up mind. They kept charging me, and finally I had to withdraw my Affirm auto-pay options. Due to which my payments went into collections negatively impacting my credit history. Why is the company selling things to every one , and not permitting course takers to leave the course with in the trail period?

    I was laid off on 3rd of May 2024 and badly needed to find a job in 1.5 months to continue my status. That said, I contacted IK (Interview Kickstarter) to ask for a solution. In return their associate reached out and directed me directly to their payment gateway after making false claims about the platform. He mentioned that there is a no questions asked 50% refund policy. However, this all changed after I made the payment. There was no communication with IK after that and they provided me a bunch of recorded videos which would usually take a while to complete (not possible under the 1.5 months timeline). Upon contacting the agent again I was denied refund completely saying that I signed some document (which I was tricked into).I made the agent aware of the situation during the start of the call and he was very optimistic that they'd help me find a job. This all changed after the phone call and I was hanging by myself.After talking about refund the then reversed their statement and asked me to skip over the videos and take mock interviews (after 1 month, leaving me no time for interview).It a scam business, which operates its call center agents based in ***** to trick people even during their worst times

    I have enrolled to Interview kickstart training on 1/11/2022, they committed that the training will help to get the job within one year of training. After training is done on 1/11/2023, during and after this training I have applied to many companies for job interview but did not secure the job. despite my dedication and efforts throughout the training program, I have not been successful in obtaining a job offer within the one-year period. I have diligently followed the guidance and advice provided by interview kickstart team, but I believe that the training did not yield the expected results in my case.I would like to formally request a refund in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement.     Interview Kickstart promised to refund me. They even called me saying that we will do so. I also have an email saying the same thing. However, that hasn't happened yet. I've reached out to them multiple times through email, phone and even a Discord channel. All my requests went silent.

    I am trying to cancel the fast-track program I signed up for with IK. I was recruited via a phone call with a program advisor at the end of last year. (29/12/2022) The advisor rushed me through the process and did not allow me to review the contract before signing it. I did not know they did not have a cancellation policy, After using their service a few times I was dissatisfied with the service, and I am now seeking cancellation and a full refund. I initially asked for a cancellation and refund three weeks after using the service 22/01/23) and I have not used the service since. The way they recruited me was unethical, ******* me through the process and not giving me adequate time to read through the agreement. I was not made aware of the no-cancellation policy before I signed up for the service.

    *********** registered with Interview Kickstart, who initially reached out to her to attend one of the knowledge sessions, hoping they would train and guide her with the knowledge and skills to be prepared for interviewing across ***** companies for a Technical Program Manager position. Although she was hesitant due to not having the relevant background in Programming, she would still acquire the skills and knowledge with their dedicated and knowledgeable training. So, she had strongly been guided to sign up for the program that although she wasn't an ideal candidate, she was one of the other candidates that can be trained. On the training, the various people who worked with her told her otherwise, and she began to question her signing up for this program without the necessary programming background. i.e. Without the basic background she would be slow and couldn't come up to speed, and compete with others for the same positions. Operations would not even give her any reference for the same from prior candidates. No further material help was received such as with resume writing and career advisor although the quality of it was raised several times. So for all the pain we have been through, we just ask for the company to refund the amount paid so far, and we will consider the issue closed. But overall it is bad for the company to mislead candidates into believing they can acquire the skills and practice to face interviews from top tier companies.

    On the date of 9-17-2020 I paid $500 deposit to reserve my spot in a training course with interview kickstart. The deposit was simply to reserve my place in the course. I never used the service and I would simply like a refund. I contacted kickstart customer service and I was told they would not give me a refund because it was in 2020. However ********** State Law says that anyone can recieve a refund as long as it is within 4 years of the purchase. I am simply attempting to get a refund of my initial deposit.
