    I had gone in to get a repair on my sewing machine. When i went in the owner had said he was going to have a guy look at my machine and see what was wrong with it. Then I received a call it was a timing on it and it was going to cost $400. I had rejected the repair and went to try to pick it up the next day. The following day I went in and he said there was more things wrong with it but he would keep it at $400 i then agreed to pay for the repair. When it was finally done i went in and he had said it was going to be $450 and that there was something else that was broken he had replaced. I said ok that is fine. When we get to the register he is talking to my boyfriend about if he sews. He then asked for my card and charges it. I had read a sign in front of the register if you pay with cash you get a discount only. Him not mentioning any other total i didnt question it. I was expecting $450 as he had said. The merchant stated $450 was a good price. The following day i noticed i was charged $463.50. I called the merchant and asked why i was overcharged he stated it was a 3% charge the machine automatically adds because of my bank. He said everywhere does it. I stated that he didnt tell me when I handed my card my new total if not I would have gotten cash. He then said he had nothing to do with it. I will not be doing business there again I was lied to more than once and no solution was given.
