    On July 7, 2023 we hired ***** Emigh to do a feasibility study for us regrading a second story addition to our home. We gave her the name and contact info for our contractor and she said she would contact him to find out about cost and the overall feasibility of our project. She stated she would contact him within the week and then meet with us again on Tuesday, July 18th at 1:00pm to share the report with us. An hour before our scheduled meeting she cancelled saying she couldn't make it because of car problems. At that time I requested a phone meeting instead but got no response from her. After reaching out to her again I finally heard back from her that evening and she said she could reschedule for the following day, Wednesday July 19th. She did not show up on the 19th and did not contact us at all. I left her several message and texts but she was unresponsive. On Friday, July 28th I contacted our contractor to see if he had ever heard from ***** and he said no. She had not contacted him. I once again left her voicemails to find out when we were going to meet again. She was unresponsive. On August 2nd we still had no response from her so we sent her an email stating we would like her to refund the $500 we paid her to do the feasibility study since she had not contacted our contractor, missed appointments with us and was non-responsive. We requested that the check be mailed to us by August 16th. Still no response. She had our money but was not doing her job and was not responding to us. On August 15th I sent her a reminder of the August 16th deadline and finally we heard from her. She acknowledge our email and our request for the $500 deposit to be refunded. She stated that she "would like to resolve this matter as well. I will be sending you a check in the mail today 8/16/23". The check never came, she was then going to drop one off, then changed her mind. She took our money, wasted our time and did not do the job.

    I refunded ************************************* her full non-refundable deposit on 8-29-2023. The agreement we signed stated clearly that the deposit was non refundable. Out of good faith and integrity I refunded it to her. 

    I love my business and strive to do my best to keep clients happy.
