    Been using this business before it sold to Mr D***** for 20 plus years with no problem. The previous owner Ike Iqbal is wonderful. This year however our taxes were done and signed in early February, our check was cashed immediately but our tax refund never arrived. We called and it seems they instituted a new rule this year where they do not file taxes until they are picked up. They did not notify us of this. If the tax forms are signed and the payment is made in full the taxes should be filed. They said they left a message to pick up but we were never told that they would not file taxes until they were picked up. I can not find any message left for me. This is not the only problem I have had since Mr Dickhil took over. It is nice to know that Ike’s non compete clause runs out this year so we can get back to good customer service and a friendly smile. I will never use nor recommend Mr D***** again. In fact I would go as far as to say “Stay Away”!!!! I will also be reporting this information to the local IRS Office.

    Mr. D***** prepared my income tax return for 2022. My check for his services was cashed April 19, 2023, in the amount of $175. As a single parent, tax returns are more than helpful to my financial situation. After not receiving my refund for close to a month,and not being able to locate it on Where’s My Refund,I finally reached out to Mr.D***** (May 16,2023) to ask if it were possible to check what may be causing the delay. He replied that he had just filed them. I find this incredibly unprofessional, as he had no issue cashing my check but failed to efile my taxes (which is a part of the cost of his services) until being reminded to do so. Upon checking Where’s My Refund the next day,my return is now traceable,which I feel shows that Mr.D***** did not efile my taxes until I sent the email.

    The accountant filed my 2021 California tax return in March 2022. The return wasn't filed properly so California wasn't able to transfer the money out of my bank account. California didn't get my money so they charged me with penalty and interest. I met with the accountant at his office and asked him to resolve this problem which was caused by his failure to properly file my tax return. Nothing has been done by the accountant and California has now accessed my bank account and debited $2,344 in penalty and interest. Additionally, the bank charged me a $125 processing fee.
