I rescued him as a pup. He began having problems getting around which was worsening quickly. I made an appt with All Valley Pet Hospital here in Santa Maria Calif. He was in with the female doctor for about 45-60 minutes. She came back to report that my little friend wasn't doing too well. I asked if there was at least one last ditch effort to help me keep him alive a little longer. She gave me meds and I understood her position. the charges: 36.00 and 946.00 total, I didnt mind paying hoping for my friend to recover and be around a little longer. Just about 10-12 days he was not getting any better. I knew it was time. I didn't want the little guy to suffer any longer. I called and was able to see the male vet. He looked at
Chewie and he and I knew it was time. I gave him one last hug because I couldn't bare looking at him. I reached the front office. Immediately, the office manager began her pitch, ashes, a box for the ashes and other items for sale. I was oblivious to what she was saying and finally said no to everything she was pitching. Then it began you this you owe for that, etc. etc.

A great display of compassion I'd say.
When I was leaving she said you owe 108.00 dollars and 295.90, I was not given as to why so much. This in my opinion is senior abuse. They should not be able to operate this way. You take your animal in good faith only to be treated in this manner. I* have seen other negative reviews as well.
