On May 14, 2025, I authorized significant amount of payment of over $6000 with the understanding that the check engine and drivetrain malfunction would go away an hour after picking up vehicle. It popped the same message to check enginecode at this time. The shop picked up vehicle and informed me that another set of parts are bad paid another $800 within 30 to 40 miles driven check engine and drivetrain malfunction code came back dropped off the vehicle again and picked up vehicle 5/21/25 with another $6000 quote at this time. I am unsatisfied with repairs done as this shouldve all been as part of the diagnosisoriginally and feel like I have been scammed out of my money outrageous prices I am OK with paying for parts that were installed, but I feel like the labor was unnecessary and uncalled for since the issues still persist andand would have loved to know all the pertaining diagnosis. The first time the vehicle was in shop as that is almost $14,000 in repairs I would have never authorized payment or repairs if this information was brought to me at the beginning of our conversations check engine is still on and has not been fixed as promised

Vehicle was towed into the shop on May 5th and would not start or run. Initial diagnostic showed engine timing chain had jumped timing causing a no start. Called customer with estimate and repair work was approved. After completion of repairs the turbocharger was noted as noisy but not causing any faults. We road tested vehicle, steam cleaned engine and washed vehicle with no faults. Returned vehicle to customer. Vehicle was towed back to shop with a no start. Further diagnostics showed fuel pump and fuel pump control unit were faulty. Customer informed us he had replaced multiple fuel pump by himself in the past. I called parts department he had purchased the fuel pump from to try to warranty the pump for him, the parts department (******** Autoparts) did not want to sell him another fuel pump but would return his money if he brought the pump back. I installed a new pump and control module and coded the control module with no labor charge and gave him his old fuel pump back so he could get his moneyback. I felt that with the situation that was more than fair. We again road tested vehicle and did not have any faults return. Car came back in again, this time with faults for failing turbocharger. Customer informed us he was selling vehicle to trading it in and drove vehicle from shop. We had not serviced this vehicle before it was towed to the shop the first visit so had no way of knowing the history of the fuel pump replacement or the noisy turbo.
