    My husband and I purchased a 20ft shipping container from this company for $2300. In their FAQs, they stated that delivery took 3-7 business days from payment received. Nothing on there about an outside delivery company that would reach out to us regarding additional refundable fees. After the payment went through, we received an email from Ship Box Express regarding a refundable insurance fee of $750 in order to have our container delivered safely. We were a bit skeptical but after we reached out to APL and spoke to ***** through their website, we hesitantly payed the fee. I say hesitantly because we sen through Zelle and the contact info they gave us was Jaquzie *******, ********************** We were then told by Ship Box Express that it would be shipped out on Monday 1/15/24. But, come Monday, we received another email from Ship Box Express asking us for an additional refundable fee ir order to move forward. We reached out to APL expressing our concerns and they told us to just pay it but at this point we lost our trust for both companies and asked them to cancel our order and we have yet to hear back from APL. We received more emails from Ship Box Express asking us to pay the fee, and when I asked them where their warehouse is so we can hire someone else to pick up, they give excuses as to why thats not possible and do not give their address. We have yet to hear back from APL Containers, and the ****** ph # does not work and the ph # on their website only rings and no one answers. Were pretty sure its all the same person/people.
