Subject: Urgent - Seized Engine in 2013 ******* Sonata - Warranty Claim Denied Unfairly Dear ******* Customer Service,I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent experience I've had with my 2013 ******* Sonata. I purchased this car less than a year ago and am appalled to learn that the engine has seized.Furthermore, I am deeply frustrated by the denial of my warranty claim for repair or replacement. You are likely aware of the known issues regarding engine seizing in certain ******* Sonata models, yet my claim was denied due to alleged negligence on my part. Here's the situation: I have been diligent about getting my oil changed regularly. While Valley Oil, where I take my car for service, is currently unable to locate the receipt for my last oil change, they have provided me with the sticker indicating my next oil change was due in April 2024 or at ****** miles. My car currently has ****** miles, well within the recommended service interval.Given the known engine issues with ******* Sonatas and my consistent maintenance record (as evidenced by the oil change sticker), I believe ******* should be held responsible for the seized engine. This situation is unacceptable, especially considering the recent purchase of the vehicle. If ******* does not reconsider my warranty claim and offer a solution to repair or replace the engine, I will be forced to pursue legal action to protect my rights as a consumer.I urge you to investigate this matter further and reach a fair resolution. I am available to discuss this issue further at your earliest convenience. You can reach me by email or via telephone:************************** ************ Thank you for your time and attention to this urgent matter.Sincerely, Shamier

    Business Response

This consumer is stating a dispute in the amount of $170.68. My best guess is he asking for a refund of the 2 oil changes on his car from 7/18/23 and 9/7/23.
it seems his engine blew up and the dealer wont fix it which has nothing to do with valley fast oil. He is also stating we cannot find his last service records but there are no services on the consumers car since 9/7/23 at ****** miles.
in any event there was not any issue with the services he is seeking a refund/dispute for so Im not sure why it would be disputed or refunded.
