The Make Magazine website doesn't offer a way to cancel your subscription. My subscription is set to auto-renew this Summer, but when I go to the account services page (**************************************************), there's no option to cancel. The account services page is only accessible via a link on a support article (*************************************************************************************************), not the main magazine site. The Make Dashboard (**************************) shows my subscription but has no option to cancel or modify it.Since neither the dashboard nor the account services page has a way to cancel, and I couldn't find a solution in 30 minutes of searching, I must assume that Make deliberately made their subscription difficult to ********* solve this, I would like to Make to cancel my subscription and provide all customers with an online cancellation option going forward.

After noticing a hold from Make Magazine for $34.99 on my debit card I called Make to have the hold removed since I didn't authorize the charge and had already paid my renewal a week ago. I believe the new charge is for renewal of a gift subscription, which I never signed up for auto-renewal for that. Anyway I asked them to remove the hold since I don't have the money to renew that, and I was told that they couldn't remove the hold because it didn't go through. I explained that the hold is going to prevent an order from ****** being fulfilled that I need here before Christmas. Today is 12/17 and the hold is in place until 12/20. I asked to speak to a manager. The "manager" claimed that they didn't put the hold on on my account that my bank did...which is obviously nonsense. My bank isn't gonna put a hold on my account for ********************** on their own. They put the hold on, they should be able to remove it without waiting for it to go through. The hold was not authorized and now it's going to effect my son's Christmas. I asked the supposed manager to have my call reviewed by management at Make Magazine. They should know what their call center workers are saying to customers because it's not acceptable. If you put a hold for a charge on my bank account, you should be able to remove it. I was told I had to call my bank, and just like I already knew there was nothing my bank could do until the charge goes through. Very poor business practices and the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life.
