      Pure Property Management, specifically the auxillary office in *****, ** has shown very poor conduct in handling my application process as a potential tenant. *I wish to note that they have acted In full compliance with the "fair housing act' and without directly breaking any laws. However, upon denying my application based on the number of credit accounts that I have actively in collections, which is in itself understandable, I have been given no further explanation nor opportunity to discuss possible options toward gaining tenancy. I have reached out to the representative in my case, ****** ******, to request a dialog regarding what I would need to do to overcome this and/or future denial. My efforts have fallen on deaf ears as I was at first completely ignored and then subsequently only responded to after I had threatened recourse such as this ********* a matter of policy Pure charges $54 per application. This is said to cover the cost of a background check. I am however, quite familiar with the costs associated with background screening for reasons that I needn't go into now. Nevertheless, I can safely estimate that this one office alone enjoys sizeable gains from such a practice and suspect it a likely drive for the apparent policy of "deny and ghost" that is applied to applicants that fall short of what is an unclear standard.Again while not illegal to deny applicants based on a vague set of requirements (specifically as it pertains to tolerances regarding number of or amount of credit accounts in collections) It is, at the very least highly unethical to ignore an applicant that has been denied through screening despite that applicants attempts at correspondence. My requests for any direction as to what might be done by myself as an applicant to attain an approval along with my request to have my application forwarded, with full transparency regarding my financial particulars, have been routinely denied as has my request for a refund in light of this

      I am trying to rent a place to live in *************. I do not live in the area. I am 2 hours away. On Thursday the 11th of this month April 2024 I applied for a rental through Pure Property Management. The next day 04/12/24 I was sent a email that I failed to qualify. It stated the reasons for their decision as... I had to many phone number changes, I had outstanding new charges on my credit, I was not eligible because of Equifax's rental score which they based their decision on but I the next sentence they didn't base their decision on. I was led to believe when calling about a property that I was speaking with a realtor. They are not realtors. When you call about a property that Pure manages you are either emailed or texted with a number to call. When you call it has an area code 707 which aludes to your talking with someone in the area. It wasn't until many calls and conversations later I found out the same person I had been speaking to was in the ***********! When I thought I had finally been able to reach Pure Property Management via phone I was told they never issued me a rejection letter. There is something not write with this company. I would like to stop them from ripping off more people.
